having fun with the helix syn . but after about 45 minutes or so the feeling starts to wear off and i become de-sensitized to the presence of the helix. any advice? ways to keep the feeling going or enhance it after the 45 minute mark?

Hi @KatiesF25,

It could be that your body signals to you that it has had enough and for you to stop. Most Aneros sessions last around 45 minutes to an hour.

Or you can just keep your Helix Syn inserted and see what happens. Perhaps you can imagine yourself as a long distance runner taking his first breather, and then he gets another spurt of energy to continue his run. So just lying with Helix Syn inserted and do nothing, perhaps pleasure will begin once again and build for another go at with Helix Syn.

Helix Syn introduced me to my Aneros session in early June 2012. He continues to teach me new and wonderful things. Often I just like to lie with him inserted, just feel him there. He's absolutely awesome!

You are going to have many wonderful sessions with Helix Syn! 😉

I have tried leaving it in longer and doing nothing, but it seems not to do anything until i start moving my hips or doing manual thrusting moves. but when i start manual things it seems to not feel as good and eventually i just get sore and give up. i guess i should preface by saying i seem to have a really hard time getting my whole body to relax and keeping it relaxed for the whole session

most people have sessions from an hour to 2 hours, or even longer. In the beginning its normal to have fatigued muslces give up or things get boring, I wouldnt worry about it too much. This all takes practice and eventually things will click, just give it time.

do you think it might be the lube wearing off?

I've only had my Aneros for about 8 months and for the last 3 - 4 months every session has been mind blowing. However, after about an hour or so I reach a point of diminishing returns. The intensity of the sensations, p-waves and orgasms start to wane. I don't know if it's fatigue or just that my body has had enough, but I'm OK with how things are going. I don't want to spend all of my time in bed and it just makes me look forward to the next time.

Re-lubing can't hurt! Give it a try!

I agree with Theme_Gasm, depends on the lube you are using, it may not last long enough especially if your using water based lube. I would recommend a natural oil lube or unrefined shea butter, they last a very long time and are relatively cheap compared to store bought lubes.

@KatiesF25,I agree with @Theme_Gasm and @ineverknew. Sounds like lack of or wearing out of lubricant. As they say, water-based lubricants really don't cut it.

I'm a strong proponent of certified unrefined shea butter. 250gm of this stuff would probably last about a year, (depending on how much and how often you use it). And it's relatively cheap. Suggest you seek some out and give it a try.
