What am I experiencing? Continuous Dry-O or Super-O

Hey everyone. I've been having some really great progress lately. I first started using Aneros about 12 years ago. I was on and off with usage because of addiction. I got married last year and only use the Aneros MGX and Maximus while my wife is playing with her toy. I've had some great new experiences. I would say I'm quite far down on the milestones listed in the wiki. I'm at the point now where I gradually approach what feels like a deep orgasm, and then, all of a sudden, I'm in the orgasm! With no cumming. It feels like I am the cum and it goes on an on. It feels so friggin good. However like I'm not getting a full release. Maybe I'm just too used to traditional O. I welcome any thoughts.

It sure sounds like a super O to me....the trade off of not having that full release is an orgasm that goes on and on and on and on

Welcome back to your community! I don't know if what you are experiencing is a Super-O or simply intense dry-O's, only you can make that determination but does it really make any difference?

Many members, over the years, have commented on their lacking a sense of 'full release'. I believe this is because most of us had become so programmed to the hormonal cascade triggered by our ejaculatory reflex that we became almost addicted to that prolactin rush. That rush which initiates the male refractory period and is accompanied by the infusion of the orgasm induced hormone oxytocin as well. These two hormones are closely linked to one's traditional ejaculatory orgasm and the calming, sedative effect they cause.

Once a man starts experiencing prostate based, multiple dry orgasms he may think he is missing out on a full orgasmic experience because the prolactin and oxytocin hormonal effects have been reduced or eliminated. This difference in orgasm induced hormonal effects between prostate based dry-O's and traditional ejaculatory orgasms can seem unsettling and strange to some men, thus leading them to think their orgasm is somehow incomplete or inadequate because they didn't receive that expected hormonal rush.

Part of the Aneros journey is learning to accept the fact prostate based orgasms are qualitatively different from traditional penile based ejaculatory orgasms. Once that fact is fully understood you will be able to more fully appreciate both types of orgasms (wet-O's & dry-O's). One of the trade-offs between the two is the sacrifice of a prolactin/oxytocin hormonal rush for the dopamine sustaining multi-orgasm possibilities. The real beauty of this trade-off is you get to choose between two pleasurable outcomes as your lifestyle affords. Good Vibes to You !

@rumel very interesting post. I am finding that I am really enjoying my post sessions lately and have begun to pay more attention to how I am feeling after a good session. It is hard to describe but I guess I would say an intense calm, satisfaction, all is right with the world and a floating feeling is what I observe, almost euphoric. I’ve always wondered what was making me feel that way but I guess I am feeling the effects of the dopamine rush. Wondering if others would describe their post sessions in the same way?

Thanks for the feedback everyone! @rumel, you're just awesome. I guess I just have to get used to the fact the dry-o/super-o is different. I can't went for the next session with my wife. At some point, we want to explore the KSMO methods as well 🙂
