First, I'm not a doctor but have always sought a means to dodge the Prostate Cancer 'bullet.' I'm concerned because the Hepatic Portal Vein provides a straight shot from the Ano-rectal complex to one's Liver:

And, If you are considering Vitamin E as a lube component, I suggest, 'read-on.'

Second, those interested in the anti-oxidant properties of oral administration of Vitamin E and it's purported ability to block the actions of free radicals; should, perhaps review the results of the National Cancer Institute's SELECT trial which examined the prostate cancer incidence in males taking a controlled supplement of Vitamin E and/or Selenium.

–The initial findings that the SELECT study's Vitamin E group had a higher incidence of Prostate Cancer than was expected.

--The SELECT study and why a 17% of Prostate Cancer in the Vitamin E test group caused the NIH to request trial volunteers to cease taking Vitamin E.

rook,
I, too, have read a report about a link between vitamin E and prostate cancer. I have no problem agreeing with your concern about synthetically derived vitamin E. I have gone back and revised my recipe for 'Natural Jelly' accordingly (as per 'isvara's post below) and have also deleted the reference to it in the Aneros WIKI recipe.
Good Vibes to You !

@rumel, just checking: You mention Vit E as an option in your May 2008 post updated in 2009. It might be an idea to edit the reference to Vit E as an option out in that post. I found the post by clicking on your reference above.
