Vaseline as lube?

Hi all,

Is vaseline a good thing to use as lube? I read from various places that using vaseline will result in "coating" your rectum with the stuff and provide a haven for bacteria and all other nasties... I noticed there are number of people here who use vaseline as lube and I am wondering how it worked out...

I have very mixed emotions about vaseline for internal use.

It is GREAT for Aneros use but may be harmful to your body, short or long term. I have posted several threads on these questions - search "lube", "vaseline", and "silicone".

I am going to slao post the bigger question...
