After 10+ years of use I am beginning to notice a feeling inside that worries me. I am worried that I may be doing damage to the inside tissues, after all this is not the natural use of the anus. I would describe it as a constant itching type sensation, located either in that place where the front tab touches or where the tip of the Aneros touches, I can't really tell, so I ask if anyone else experiences similar. It is most prevalent at night when I am not distracted by work.

@nerve, I've been an Aneros user for nearly 13 years now and occasionally also feel that 'itch'. I don't think you have anything to be concerned about, many users have commented over the years about itch like sensations. In fact, I incorporated a reference to that sensation in the script of "HypnAerosession". If you have been using your massager properly and with adequate lubrication it is highly unlikely you have injured yourself in any way. It is possible the lube you are using may be causing a slight allergic reaction which might feel 'itchy'. You may wish to try a different lube. Perhaps taking a break from Aneros use for a few weeks may settle things down and give you a chance to evaluate your situation. If you are still concerned after that period of time then scheduling an appointment with a proctologist would be advisable.

I suspect this is just a temporary intensification of normal sensations from an awakened prostate.

Good Vibes to You!

I have gotten the itch in the last few days, it goes away. I have been A-Less for quite awhile now. I use a towel rolled up into a cylinder shape about 3 to 4 inches in diameter placed in between my crotch as to stimulate my anus and perenium on my couch in the slouching position and prop my feet on my coffee table and another support and really rely on nipple play but I have had the most intense super O's in the years I have been doing this in that way that I really don't use my Helix Trident anymore! I have orgasms before work and as soon as I get home after I eat lunch using this method! So I don't think you are doing anything wrong with your Aneros, in my case after getting the itch thing was I have just been doing it too much maybe?
