Two different kinds of 'horney'

More and more i am believing this is true, at least of me anyway.

So i find myself realising that there are two types of horney. One i shall call ass-horney and the other i shall call penis-horney.

They are quite self explanatory. There are times i know I'm ready for aneros use and times i know i need a release and feeling of renewal, which usually comes in the form sex but not always. The problem is that at times it is possible to confused the two and in some rarer circumstances be in both arousal types.

This by far is why i sometimes feel frustrated. When i cannot differentiate between the two arousal/desire states, go for a session thinking I'm ready for one but end up ejaculating because my body wanted it. One is more mind focused and the other physical, you can guess which is which I'm sure. Ass-horney is much much easier to recognise, it involves no thoughts of penis play. The other is harder because i find Pwaves happen and i think mentally i want an aneros session.

But its my body sending confused signals. Right now i believe i am in a penis-horney state but my p-waves are strong too. It is very confusing!

Indeed @Sorena ! Congratulations on your identification of this rewiring signal.

Looking back six years ago, a major step in my rewiring was identification of how my mind and memory was sorting out these two major paths toward Orgasm. Penis horny had for years been a feeling of warmth in my lower abdomen (Navel Chakra, aka Dan Tien). Ass horny, for several months, was indicated by warmth along my rib cage.

After experiencing my early dry orgasms that 'rib-cage' signal found a new home in my Heart Chakra where it has remained. I think this lust in my chest was 'cemented' as I brought my nipples into play during my Aneros sessions.

Thanks @rook, even in spite of this identification of my current arousal state as penis-horney i had an anero session anyway.

I have to say, my mind was blown. Best session ever. I think i had a Super. It was incredible. I am lost for words. I used some more active technique, perhaps the energy for masturbation played a part and instead of masturbating my penis i was masturbating my ass-prostate (i used the quick and dirty path techniques)

I still feel its true that identification helps direction of what kind of energy release is needed though, its still something I'm not quite wired to understand fully yet.

Also @rook in terms of what you feel to help identify your arousal type: I find that when I'm penis-horney i feel 'sick' almost in my stomach and have feelings in my penis, ironically. When I'm ass-horney i feel it, well, in my ass and back of my legs sometimes and my stomach does not feel 'sick'. But not always and sometimes i feel ALL of those together which really muddies the identification process.

Here is a blog entry i made on it, my first in fact as i felt strongly enough to make a post on it so i can read when i need it as a sort of permanent record of the experience. Blog Entry

I guess this is a good test of my hypothesis, I was so aroused post super o in my earlier session that I had another session, approx 4 hrs later, but I realise how goal driven this made me. I got immediate feelings like before but they vanished within minutes.

I was tired and thought that this killed it. Perhaps the super o had made me physically tired in both body and Prostate.

I found myself forcing the session, looking at my penis, occasionally touching it. That's when I stopped and knew I was being greedy. I was not calm nor focused, I think multiple sessions are generally not a good idea, your prostate, body and your mind (arousal/focus) needs time for regeneration. I hope this hasn't negatively effected my current progress in any way, overstimulation etc. Don't be greedy guys...

I'm still having trouble distinguishing the two. I thought last night I was ready because I was having p-waves, but the session was a complete dud. Ended up falling asleep with it in. Getting a little bit frustrated because I haven't come close to where I was a couple weeks ago. Even though I only had one super o, the next two days I felt like I was really close to another one. The best session I've had since then was a few nights ago when I had a bunch of dry orgasms ranging in intensities. None of them got anywhere near a super o though. The strongest one felt around the same intensity as a wet o. I just can't seem to get in that magical state of mind that lets me relax and let the pleasure just crash over me.

I started no fap again a few days ago and will prob start back on my diet next week since all the KS symptoms seem to have passed. Maybe this will help because last time I had one was right when I started on my diet.

Good health, good rest, real arousal (the kind where you want to prolongue your pleasure with no desire or goal). Those three things will get you dry orgasms and super.

The first two... Easy...ish. The third.... That requires a build up of energy both physical and mental (over days usually), it's tricky because it can be hidden under the shroud of pwaves and desire for orgasm.

Body AND mind must be in sync, and it's hard because your pwaves in your body can be so inviting and strong in their intensity and it fools you.

I think being in sync has been my biggest obstacle. The night I had a super o, everything seemed to work in tandem. Breathing and involuntaries seemed like they were in perfect harmony. It only took a few minutes to get there too.

Do you watch porn during a session? I've read conflicting things. Some people watch with no problems, while others seem to think its distracting. The super o I had was pornless and a-less.

No, no porn, it is bad. I used to, it results in ejacualtion and expectation. A big distraction. Again it's deceptive because it give you arousal feelings, sometimes pwaves too. But it's temporary, and will stop your sessions dead.

As for being in sync: I PRAY this 'perfect sync' state becomes more frequent and that this is the 'next stage' of rewiring were at, it's the next thing to 'learn' as it were. I believe it's part of the milestones checklist.

Yeah I was wondering if it gives you some deceptive arousal feelings. I never touch myself anymore, but when I focus on my penis and do kegels, that is how I get dry orgasms. I think arousal from porn helps getting pleasure waves and dry orgasms in a sense, but probably prevents achieving something greater like a super o.

I think I may try to recreate the events leading up to my super o tonight. Just reading a bunch online about it while practicing breathing and contractions. Then just lay down and go to bed, a-less, and just see what happens.

Starting with aless contractions is a good start. If I've got pwaves going before a session starts its always better.

Today was the day things changed for me, I used do nothing technique and after a while it faded and i almost gave up. Then I did the tug o war and boom! It happened for me. It's a combination of techniques as well when you're in the zone that works for me.

What I found was though it wasn't in the contractions that I felt anything, it was in the moments after them, in the energetic release of muscles and tension and relaxing right after a series of fast/small contractions.

Describe the tug of war if you will. Is it something like this: Inhaling deep into your abdomen while pushing out, exhaling while pulling in? I've read about doing anal and rectal contractions at the same time, but I find it difficult if not impossible for me to do.

It's more the latter, a pulling in contraction (not vigorously) and then releasing as well as mixing it up with pushing. So I would do ten sort of minor quick contractions, I then stop it totally and let go or sometimes push out and hold it, ie just be passive. In those relaxing/releasing moments is where the orgasms were. Sometimes to mix it up I would also instead of relaxing just hold it where it felt nice, a minor 'holding contraction'

It's not quite the tug o war as described here as I cannot do both at the same time either, but rather my version of it. I find this works aneros less as well, just the feelings are not as intense. I suppose it's less tug o war and more micro contractions/Kegels both inward and pushing out.

A better way of viewing it is that what i am doing is causing the muscles to spasm in there which generates the pleasure through some kind of 'muscle fatigue' of a sort. This could also explain why I'm unable to do it again, I'm just exhausted in every required regard,

It all sounds very active but in reality it's very small movements, very subtle, not aggressive. It didn't work in the second session, I guess my Prostate was 'done' and didn't want to be 'masturbated' as it were.

There are many forms of orgasm here and I agree that pwaves are a form and that all were doing are things to amplify those waves into a bigger one.

Thanks for the info. I haven't tried the quick contractions then relax method yet so I'll probably give that a go. All my contractions are minor because I learned pretty quickly any large contraction doesn't work at all for me. The contractions I do remind me of the lead up to a traditional orgasm where you start having a couple subtle involuntaries before you reach orgasm, especially if you are edging.

One more question. I've experimented a couple times with relaxing the muscle you use to pee (obviously empty bladder before hand). I've read the pc muscle is what you use to stop the flow of urine, so I assume it is the same muscle you relax to take a piss. Have you, or anybody, had any success alternating contractions/relaxing this muscle.

Honestly, I'm still a little confused about all the muscles and have trouble pinpointing which ones I'm using and it is something I need to do more research on.

I have trouble identifying the muscles too, but yes the muscle I refer to is the 'stopping the pee' muscle. That's what i contract, relax and allow it to spasm.

I found that my cock was hard during this process, so when I contracted this muscle my bounce would bounce a little, it kinda looks like Its pumping like its trying to ejaculate as i contract quickly. The release/relax part is the good part though.

I'll see if I can try focus on isolating this muscle more. Right now, I just can't differentiate between the pc muscle and anal contractions. I know the rectum contraction is pushing out and that one is easy for me. I feel like when I pull in, everything does, just not one muscle.

I totally agree with this, it's why I've stopped trying to focus on which one does what, but try to envisage needing to pee then stopping it with a contraction when in session. A full contraction with all muscles is really strong IMO, the pee one is weak and in another place. The pushing out one does feel different and its just those two i use, even if I accidentally use all the muscles contracting in, it still works.

Sounds bad this as I'm sure someone will tell me it's wrong but for the contracting in part I was focusing on making the penis bounce, like pretending it was ejaculating and doing that seemed to activate the right feelings/muscle.

Can anyone offer their thoughts on identifying muscles more easily?

I can identify with all of this.

Different techniques work at different times. What I am really concentrating on at the moment is trying to identify the pre-orgasmic pleasure feeling and separating that out from all the other good feelings and that seems to get me closer to orgasm.
I can't work out why different things work at different times. Sometimes it's really deep breaths either fully in or fully out, sometimes short panting breaths at different depths. Sometimes different contractions either anal or PC muscle, sometimes combinations. It feels like 'fishing' for the right sensations and once you find it then continuing with whatever brought it on, and with luck you can hold it and build to an orgasm,

I'm getting more erections than I used to too and I'm finding that really off putting, it's much easier to concentrate without one - is that just me?

I was tired and thought that this killed it. Perhaps the super o had made me physically tired in both body and Prostate.

I have found that tiredness and stress is something that reduces the chances of a good orgasm, and the biggest predictor of a good session. My best orgasms by far have been on a Sunday evening or during a week off work.Last night I was exhausted and got to the point of feeling just on the edge of a whole body orgasm - my legs, prostate, abdomen and chest were buzzing, each breath felt orgasmic, and I felt like it would take just one more breath to make me collapse into a massive full body orgasm, but I was on the verge of falling asleep and just couldn't concentrate enough to let it go that tiny step further so it didn't happen. I'm sure that would have been a super-O if it had actually happened.

Also I'm sure that orgasms take a lot of energy and it needs to be regained before there is a good chance of another. I had a great orgasm earlier yesterday so I thought I would be lucky to get another last night. What I would really like to know is how best to build up the energy again.

That's my experience anyway.

I agree with all of what you say smudgefish. I have taken to writing down all the techniques that work in the past for me and if i find during a session one doesn't work i try another, if none works i then give up.

Energy (in all its forms) is key though, that goes for how fatigue you are, health, focus and prostate readiness. Its not something that can take stimulation all the time, it needs rest for whatever reason.

I have no idea how to build it up either though I'm sure being positive is a good start as this works for me when I'm feeling happy before i even start. The questions we should asking are to those that are fully rewired and regular super experiencers, how long they give it between sessions, how much time time they give this energy to build, how to recognise and not confuse with other body needs etc.

One thing is sure from my perspective since getting ther super yesterday (and subsequent poor follow up session): I'm not fully there yet, I'm not full 'rewired' I dislike this word though, it's not quite right, I feel the best way to word it is that 'I'm still learning' or rather my body is still learning, it's trying to absorb all this new stimuli and input and it's not instant even when you think you are rewired it then shows you there are new levels. Maybe it's a suitable word after-all....

Remember just because you have had the super a few times or even what you perceive as decent consistency does not mean this is true every time, you're body is still 'learning the ropes' (this includes how your body creates/stores and uses energy). Also remember that anything worthwhile requires patience, trial and error and perseverance even in the face of constant failure which is likely only a dry spell.

Interesting discussion, @smudefish and @sorena_. I've been struggling with energy issues too. How to build energy, that's key as you say @sorena_. . I I haven't figured that out yet but I have a list like you. I've been doing a form of tantric masturbation, an appropriate term someone gave me. Basically edging mindfully, usually with an anal toy like peridise or dildo, and circulating the sexual energy throughout my body. This works to isolate the orgasms from the ejaculation but stops if I ejaculate usually (but not always depending). It seems to fill my reservoir of energy a bit, and the effect lasts for a while. The trick for me is to identify the muscles and sensations that lead to the PONR and to relax those muscles as I get closer and closer. For me they are especially the anal sphincters, the cremaster and the PC. It's hard to relax the first 2 though. I can gently pull on my scrotum, stop touching my nipples, take my hand off my penis and especially the frenulum and massage my abdomen. Haven't mastered it yet but practice makes perfect supposedly LOL.

I learned about the subtle energy from @chuckjo2000 and continued with Mantak Chia Multiorgasmic Man. See https://community.aneros.com/forum/discussion/comment/75628. That practice gave me a tactile reference to this kind of energy and how to use it. However I was not able to generate orgasms from @chuckjo2000 methods, probably because of some of my deficiencies. However others have gotten dependable orgasms this way.

The other kind of energy for me is my mental and physical stamina. I've been tackling that with mindful eating and digestion, exercise, hormonal stimulation of testosterone and meditation. That's been tougher for me. I still poop out before I can get to the self-sustaining prostate orgasms. I can guage my total energy reserves by how long I can go with tantric masturbation.

The nexus for my energy production is supposed to be my solar plexus, and the sacral chakra or dan tien is said to be the reservoir.

What works for me is to build up arousal slooowly, mindfully, circulating the arousal around my body, being attentive, not pushing it.

Yes this is an unfolding process. It seems to be a progressive one for me, leading onward. I have certain issues like low testosterone which are not true of others. So I don't know if the super orgasmers are more likely to be of help to me than others. But I think we can all help each other with any discoveries and insights we get.
