Trouble with new toys

Hi all, I recently bought three new toys and I'm honestly struggling with all three, despite the fact that I've been having excellent success with the helix recently.

First off, the progasm. Wow is it bigger than expected. That being said, I have no problem at all with insertion, the problem comes after about thirty minutes. I find my anus clenching terribly and it just aches, like, a lot. It hurts so bad I have to stop the session right when things start getting good. Any tips? Should I just continue and try to train my bum to accommodate this larger object?

I also got the tempo and Pericles two piece set. These I was really excited about because I wanted to try straight anal play and I'd also heard that they can produce orgasms even more powerful than prostate massagers. However, as soon as I inserted them, I found I didn't know what to do. I did some contractions and tried treating them like prostate massagers but I didn't get anything beyond a little bit of nice feeling. So, does anyone have instructions for these things?

Thanks for your time.

I assume the two-piece set was one of the Peridise kits but you don't say which one!

The instructions from HIH that comes with the set of all 4, says, in effect, "start with the largest and work your way down to the smallest as you achieve control of your haemorrhoids with each one. (BTW, I assume you are using them one at a time and not both at once)!!

Given that, my suggestion is that you use the larger one that you have received for a few weeks before advancing to the smaller one. Eventually, you may find that you settle on the Peridise as your preferred tool and my guess is that if you do, the smaller one will be your tool of choice. The smallest one is certainly my favourite.

I do also have the Tempo, but it is a while since I have given it a run. I'm almost afraid to use it too often for fear of damaging its glossy surface!

You will notice that I haven't mentioned the Progasm. I got the Ice version early in my journey and, like you, found it just overkill and uncomfortable. Haven't used it since October 2011!

Similar to Pommie, I purchased the Progasm early on, convinced my lack of a positive experience was due to the device not being big enough. I had the Helix, but at the time it wasn't doing anything for me. I was new to this whole experience and got nothing from the Progasm either.

It is pretty common to read posts from newbies asking abut large devices when their current one's hasn't kicked in yet. The old adage, Bigger is better isn't necessarily the case here.

Once I began consistently enjoying the Helix I tried the Progasm again. It worked but I never felt very comfortable with its size. I tried the Eupho and Peridise and learned that once things are working, size really doesn't matter. In fact, my favorites currently are the largest Peridise and the Eupho. Helix is still great, but I seldom, if ever reach for the Progasm.

Buy a midrange device and stick with it is my advice to anyone. Once you've got the hang of things try others.

@Pommie and @Bunk also made a really useful point in a recent thread which needs reiterating here - the end bulbs of the Peridise models and the Tempo need to be positioned just beyond the inner anal sphincter.

I started with the Helix and thought I needed something bigger. I never had success with the Prograsmin over 1 1/2 years.Have recently bought an eupho. Not tried not yet.
So far Helix is my go to.
