Just thought I'd share this information I got from Ben Greenfield podcast http://www.bengreenfieldfitness.com/podcasts/ and http://puremagoil.com/dhea.htm. Topical magnesium oil raises our magnesium blood level and stimulates our body's production of DHEA. This is important for our health and preventing all kinds of serious diseases including BPH. It increases testosterone too. People normally have low levels of magnesium as we age but supplements are very inefficient at raising levels. Magnesium is used by athletes for easing pain. I spray it on but you can put it in the bath. I just started with it. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Sounds cool. Keep us posted, but you'll have to have a before and after blood test to see if it is raising testosterone (total, free, SHBG, estrogen)

That's how I started with aneros prostate massage 2 years ago. My testosterone measured low and I had low libido. I assume my testosterone is higher now judging by my libido and new interests. It'll be interesting to measure it again. The topical magnesium is supposed to take a few months to stimulate DHEA production so I'm not running out to get tested 🙂 But it's a faster and stronger reaction than injected or ingested magnesium.

The Tribulis Terrestris herb will also boost testosterone. I use the NOW brand I believe. Pay attention to the active saponins in the recipe

Huh someone mentioned this and I saw it in the health food store. Maybe I'll give it a try. I'm adding magnesium oil to my bath now. Very invigorating.

My DHEA level measured 176 with the standard range being 25 - 131! This is after taking daily baths with magnesium oil. DHEA is a testosterone precursor. That being said, my testosterone level hasn't increased. However I've only been taking magnesium baths since early March.
