To Keep, or Not To Keep?

Hi! First time aneros-user, been using it for a few weeks. Reporting in on my progress and asking a few questions, I've actually begun to feel some of the benefits after this time! I get little pleasurable twitches that cause it to move on its own within me (are these the elusive "involuntaries", and if so, am I weird in that they don't drive me mad?), though the pleasure is limited to my lower back/anus/perineum for some reason. It has yet to progress higher than there. I remain hopeful though, alternating between on-back with legs straight and still on-back with legs bent, feet flat, knees up. I've tried the side-positions, but they seem to do nothing for me. Are there any tips besides a shower beforehand to relax and be squeaky clean?

Oh, as for the title. I am by no means an experienced user with anal play, but through some mishaps with a third-party seller, I got a Maximus instead of a Helix on research and comparison. Now, I'm not complaining, as it is a genuine Maximus (no seams or cracks to be found anywhere on the thing!), and does on most occasions get settled and produce the halfway-sensations all the same. But my question is if I should continue use of the Maximus, or stop, backtrack, and get myself a Helix and continue my sessions with it? I am strapped for privacy in terms of delivery, but I'm wondering if I'm wasting my time here on the wrong model...
