Starting a few new tip threads. Maybe someone will find them useful. Feel free to add your effective methods.

Accessories
I use a 5ml syringe with the tip thats already on it. I have a small cup with lid full of natural oil and another small empty cup. Lube or vasiline.

Method
I fill the cup with tap water and draw 5ml into the syringe. Insert and spray.. Thats good enough to get it cleaned up with a smal BM.
Now I fill the same syringe with 2ml of oil. Enough for me... Insert and pump it in there.
Then coat the aneros model with either lube or a coat of vasiline.
Insert the model.

Works like a charm, and super fast.

How far does the syringe go in? Does the lubricant stay in? I have a problem with it leaking out sometimes.

I got a Fleet enema kit with 2 bottles. One is for water for irrigation and the other is for lubricant. I use avocado oil because it's a dense viscous oil, natural, and doesn't leak out. The bottles have a long neck, just right for getting deep inside. I put both bottles in warm water (they come with stppers) so the liquids are comfortable going in. And the best part is that I only have to fill them when they're empty, about once a week. Very quick and easy.

@euphemistic: the standard 5ml syringe has a 3-4 millimeter tip. Just be sure to keep it on the right angle or it can be a bit sharp. It doesn`t leak out with me, probably because the syringe pump gives alot of pressure - so it gets well dispensed up there.

I`m gonna try to find avocado oil, never seen that before.
I have a anal dousche I think it`s called, but I feel it`s easier to use the syringe. Same tool for both jobs and doesn`t take much space.

@Alex_xxx, quick, simple and effective. I have shortened the syringe tip so it is not at all sharp.

@alex_xxx, I got avocado oil at a health food store. My problem with leakage is the oil leaking out during a session. I use a towel but sometimes it leaks through and strains. I can't use water based lube because it gives me a wee bit of the diarrhea.

I tried a syringe that I got from the aneros site that came with an extension spout but the barrel of the syringe was too hard for me to push and too awkward. The soft plastic of the cheap enema bottles is much kinder to my rear.

The quantity of water used, 5 ml, seems quite small. Also, only 2 ml of lube isn't very much.
Are these amounts correct?

i use one of these, http://www.amazon.com/CleanStream-One-Shot-Enema-Launcher/dp/B005NCB2S4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1375285881&sr=8-1&keywords=lube+shooter .

Very insertion and can be used for enema or lube insertion. I typically inject about 4ml of extra virgin olive oil.

@euphemistichave you tried cutting it down to 2ml oil and a coat of vaseline on the model? works great for me.. I tried 4ml in the start, but came out like it does with you. Movement doesn`t increase propotional to the amount of lube, more like a bell-curve. I find that it often gets sucked upwards, so a few big pushes (big outwards and inwards motions) is good for spreading the oil after a while.

@isvara
I didn`t have to cut the tip down, I just got used to doing it without hurting myself, a bit of lube 🙂

Have you tried Slippery Stuff Gel? It's anal-safe, and it has no glycerin, which is what usually causes diarrhea. Any one of the Lube-Shooter type applicators can be had for under $10 online, and the Slippery Stuff Gel can be found for around $15-20 for a 16 oz pumper, and it last a long time.
I personally put a shot of Slippery Stuff Gel inside, and a very thin coating of either Vaseline or Un-Petroleum Jelly on the device (a little goes a long way). That has worked well for me. I try to insert roughly +1 - 1 1/2 inches of the applicator in my bum, to keep it from going too far inside.

Hey guys all of your suggestions are good one's but as a gay male who does anal play on the regular its best to find a very cheap douche. If you don't want to buy a product there is another quick and easy way to clean the butt. It may sound gross but doing it manually is also good. Drink two glasses of water. Let it sit. The get you some latex gloves. Soap up your gloves, sit on the toilet and pull the crap out the but. With the water in the body it will make the bowel come out a lot easier. Continue to soap the hands and use about two fingers to get it all out. I can get down in 15 minutes. its also can be pleasurable too. Just a thought.

If my bowel is being regular, I've purged its contents over the course of the morning and by the evening there's very little left, and what lumps there are will be small and solid and easily removed with a Vaseline tipped finger... The Vaseline acts as a barrier layer.

Doing this also lets me feel how "tight" I am inside that evening, which influences my choice of device.

@alex_xxx, yes, that's the problem with my technique. I can't control exactly how much lube I'm getting. I just squeaze the bottle and guesstimate the amount. Sometimes I squirt in too much and sometimes too little. The advantage is I have a quick lube job for days in the same bottle so I don't have to refill it all the time. The problem is it sometimes leaks around the edges.

It takes me 15 seconds to open the jar and draw up 2ml of lube. So it really might not be very timesaving to have it ready in the bottle. But then again, this thread is about an easy quick prep 🙂
