Thinking about modifying/adjusting my Maximus Trident

To be fair I have only used it a couple of times but on both occasions I had to remove it as I found the position of the P-tab too aggressive. It really digs in hard, maybe it’s meant to? I have compared it to my Progasm Jr which is slightly bigger in the body but the tab is about 3/8 inch lower, ie further away from where it makes contact. I was thinking that instead of trying to bend it I might cut out a small section and reattach the rounded end using superglue. I’m going to give it another few tries to see if I can get comfortable with it before I do anything drastic, I just wanted to ask opinions first as I know some others have modded their devices.
Thanks.

Superglue or any glue won't be as strong as the original. I would place a stopper rubber ring around the base of the main body to stop the whole device going in so deep. You will be able to adjust the ring to set your preferred depth before you do anything drastic.

@Harper When I first bought my new Helix Trident, it felt "different" from the other Classic models and I actually avoided it for a while. But after 5-6 sessions, it started to feel "right" and now I wouldn't change a thing! In all honestly, I concentrate on what I am feeling in my prostate; I don't even think (or feel) the tabs. IMHO, I wouldn't modify it yet. Perhaps inserting it less deeply at first may be better. Good luck!

Get a cotton ball and kind of "push" the tab into it and then insert while holding the cotton secure to the ptab and make sure the contact between your body and the cotton/arm is sung. I did that for a while not just for comfort but to center the toy (with the Trident line, no need to worry about it being off center!!).

But I have modified most of my classic models with FDA approved epoxy putty, it's made to be used on pipes that pass potable water. I ball it up and make a "pad" like thing with it and it spreads out the tight, direct contact on my perineum. It better centers all my classic models now. The stuff dries so hard that you can sand it and round out edges, etc. Contact with skin is whatever, ain't doing nothing. Lowe's doesn't really carry the FDA approved epoxy putty much anymore, at least a year ago they quit stocking it. Look on amazon it's there for sure. It takes a bit of foresight and planning to get the putty just right and you can't easily start over, but you get a few minutes to mold and shape it to your liking.

Or just keep at it the way it is and see if it winds up not being so bad. But breaking it and trying to reattach it isn't going to work I'm afraid. I would trust nothing on the market to keep the pieces secure once severed. If you're already pulling the toy into you with that much power, imagine some tiny dab of superglue trying to keep the toy together...you don't want to lose it somewhere you don't want to lose it in!! Be careful whatever you do!

Another idea that works for me.
I put the rubber squeeze bulb from a small eye dropper on the P-tab.
No more sore spot from the narrow tabs. Easy to take off and clean. Not permanent.
Under $3 for two at my local grocery store health section for babies.

Some great answers there, thanks all. Not going to do anything in a hurry, I will give it the chance it deserves and see how I get on with it after a few sessions in rotation with other models.
