Hello, I am very new to the aneros journey however, it has become very apparent the only position that "gives" me pleasure is face down ass up. I have not achieved the super O but, that matters not... I know as I become more aware of my body that will come. I was wondering if anyone else has the same limited position experience? I usually start face down, ass up, or just bent over the edge of my bed because to me that’s an incredibly erotic feeling position. It’s nice to get things started, but I usually progress to a position on my back with my knees drawn up towards my chest and holding onto the back of my thighs. I have a small Liberator Wedge that I usually have under my hips, although I imagine a large, firm pillow would do nicely too. I use a Progasm Ice with plenty of lube, and it usually takes just a few contractions in this position before I’m off to the races.

One of the positions I like I call the frog. I lay on my back and grab ahold of my ankles and pull back as far as I can. My epho syn just ever so subtly starts to move. Yes this is achievable and it's a great thing to experience, hammering the bed face down with your arms out.
If you lie face down/ass up on the bed you actually have gravity working in your favour, your device should fall a little more easily into your body giving you an even greater chance of it happening face down/ass up.
With the face up/ass down/on the back position, I found a single pillow under the back gives a variable result, but an additional cushion under the small of the back helps to raise your ass up a bit, thereby also encouraging the device to fall more easily into the body.
Two positions work for me, in different ways.
First, face down on the bed without a doubt produces the best, strongest SO's.
Second, lying on my back with my knees pulled up gives me SO's but not as intense. This position
does produce more "surges" after the big one. Five to ten quick aftershocks aren't unusual.

As this thread has been brought up again I might as well update. Now I almost exclusively lay on my back! As I've discovered my nipples and have started wearing headphones it's necessary and I've become comfortable with it. No temptation to grab my dick and ejaculate anymore, either.

Edit : the feet flat position you describe is one of my favorites and it's a very powerful one, I don't think i can outgrow it. So I suggest revisiting it from time even if you find another favorite position. Things change quicly in this game and what didn't work one day make sense the day after.

I'm finding the plugs move on their own more in prone position - the involuntaries start right away, continue longer, and the movements are more varied. Auto-fucking happens much sooner and the thrusts have a deeper reach.
@pumperdave no matter what I do, I get neck strain in that position, must be my body shape. Can't say I never experienced good sessions in prone position or all fours, but I can't go for as long as I would like.
