With the Aneros like it is, I just can't get enough pressure on my "sweet spot" to start the contractions. If I slide a finger between the tab and the "spot" it seems to make it just about right. So now I'm trying to find a way to modify this device by adding a spacer of sorts to the tip of the tab. Has anybody been successful in such a quest?

Been there! Chances are you have an original design MGX, (the one with the knobs/nodules on the end of the body of the unit). If so, I had the same problem myself. Check out my posting entitled "ANEROS MODIFICATIONS" dated 1/19/2004 in my "Keys to the Backdoor....REVISITED" thread above. I gave an overview wherein I described how the problem may be remedied. I currently own all of the configurations; MGX new and old and the SGX. Although I can be orgasmic with any of these units, I definitely favor my "modified MGX" (old style MGX with a compressed abutment tab). To me, it seems to be the best of all worlds.

P.S. Just remember that modifications that you make to one area of the unit may adversely effect the function of the device in some other area. That is, add a tip to the abutment tab, and you may get better perineal engagement, but the massager body may not insert all of the way anymore! The same goes for bending the abutment tab forward (as I describe in my "revisited" thread). So proceed with caution!

Before you modify your Aneros, I suggest that you lay it down on a piece of paper and make a tracing of it. This will give you a template to restore it to it's original shape in case the modified shape does not work out.

I had the same problem, I was doing the contractions and not much was happening until I slid my finger between the tab and the "spot" and began pushing the tab back a little, in doing so, the massager moved forward inside and pressed against my prostate as I was also doing the contractions. It sent me into a tizzy! I instantly stated to have pre-cum and then a few minutes later, the cum was pouring out of my penis. Unfortunately, when using the massager, my ejaculate doesn't shoot, it just pours out, and it's a little thicker than usual.

Whatever the case, it feels damn good! 🙂

If you intend to modify the shape of your Aneros, I would suggest placing it on some paper or cardboard and making a tracing of it. This will leave you with a template that you can use to restore it to it's original shape.
