Hello Aneros Support, 🙂

I've tried several times today to send a message to you folks via the feedback tab, and it says it cannot send it. So I'm posting my question here. Thanks.

Is it ever going to be possible for you people with this new software to alter the forum search function so the results come out only by relevancy from the search terms, not by newest post first and then relevancy like it has been since I've joined? As soon as a good thread gets old enough, it's difficult to find it as it gets buried many pages behind the first one, and likely increases the amount of new Aneros user questions that have been asked before. A good search function is critical to a good forum. I know that at ubuntuforums.org, they use the same vbulletin forum software and are able to do this. Thanks.

Hey Guys,

Can you tell me what the error you are receiving with the feedback form? We are receiving emails from users and I cannot seem to duplicate a problem on our end.

As for the search, I understand what you mean. I will look into the options and find out if we can possibly modify it.

Thanks for the feedback on AnerosMe rook!

Thanks for all you are doing Aneros Support! 😀

I did receive the email reply to my Feedback of yesterday about the inability to enter data in one of the columns of data in my Profile at AnerosMe, which is a wonderful addition! When I visited AM today, there is a funny little blurry four number cluster and a word smear floating above where the text bars column should be open, at the edge of the surrounding frame. I clicked on it when my cursor changed to the hand pointing and there appeared to the left of it a text bar "Gender" and a drop-down choice of two bars: Male or Female. I clicked Male and it did register. Nothing and no way in yet to change the erroneous Birth Date ("December 31" it still claims 😀 ) or to add the data in the other blank categories.

Will there soon be an AnerosMe black letter button link placed here in the top menu bar on this and other Forum pages? Or some other link button on the open pages or in our own Profile or Settings here?

Thanks again for all your work on getting all these new features and core functions right!

Artform,

What browser are you using? If you're not doing so already try Firefox. I entered all of my data on AnerosMe using Firefox (on a Mac) without a hitch.

Thanks BF Mayfield! 😀

I habitually use Safari and for 99.9% of the world it is so easy and just does it. Not Chat here. So maybe not AnerosMe either in the data entry category. Will try Firefox now and report back. Thanks very much again.

Hey Artform,

Thanks for the info. We do have some issues with Safari that are on the list to be fixed as quickly as possible. We will keep you posted here when it is resolved.

Hello Aneros Support, 🙂

The error message I receive is as follows:

Sorry but your message could not be sent. Please try again later.

If it is of any help, I'm using Mozilla Firefox 3.0.18 on Ubuntu Linux 9.04 with the following add-ons: Adblock Plus(google-analytics blocked), Cookie monster(cookies are enabled for aneros.com, but deleted after logging out), Download status bar, Flashblock(flash disabled for aneros.com), Print Preview, Privacy Plus(Flash super cookies deleted after visiting aneros.com), and Tab Mix Plus. I'll be upgrading via a clean install of Ubuntu 9.10 at the end of the month which I believe is using Firefox 3.5.x on it. Just in case it has something to do with my older version of Firefox.
