My advice is to find a place and time alone, free of interruption. Breathe as much as you want and let your body do what it wants. Don't make much of a conscious effort. My wife gave me my first Super-O and her participation accelerated my progress with my Aneros (began with MGX and later added Helix and Eupho). For many males here this is a solo practice, but it is good to hear that your gf is so excited, and those of us whose practice embraces our partner like to compare notes on that basis too.
