When you have a super-o do you always go into a trance like state of mind, or can you be fully conscious during them?

Kdigs,

This seems to me to be like the question "Which came first the chicken or the egg?" but also it begs the question what do you consider "a trance like state of mind"? IMHO, you can be conscious and be in a trance simultaneously, I guess it depends on your particular definition of trance, I like to use this definition of trance: an altered state of consciousness that can be natural or induced and is characterized by expanded or selected attention and awareness. Used for its therapeutic value in handling situations ranging from pain or stress management to phobia control, relaxation, and relief from nausea.

With regards to a Super-O, I think you have to be in an altered state of consciousness to enter the Super-O zone to begin with. When you are there then I think your mind shifts focus a little more and your conscious state of being is still present but ones normal ego processes are sublimated. I suspect some fMRI studies during a Super-O might reveal some interesting brain activation patterns, perhaps some day this phenomenon may be studied. In any event, you are conscious but in an altered state, I'm not sure what "fully conscious" means in this context other than to say it is not your ordinary level of daily interactive consciousness.

I never experience anything trance-like. I'm fully conscious and feel incredible, hot surging orgasms from my pelvis out into my penis that culminate in strong ejaculating feelings, though nothing comes out.
