I have had my Helix and Progasm now for about a month now. In this time only a few times have I had any sort of prostate contact, with the Progasm, nothing with the Helix. But I noticed that I could get contact sometimes, by pulling back on the K tab, thus pushing the Progasm forward. That told me that the Progasm probably did not have enough curve to successfully make contact reliably.
So, I read a lot here, on the forum. I read about some modifications, and bent back, then completely cut off the K-tab. This had very little effect.
I figured that neither of the two devices was reaching either high enough or forward enough for me.
Being the hacker/tinkerer type, I decided to try a different type of modification. I decided to use 'Polymorph' plastic to extend my Helix.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polycaprolactone is really an amazing material. At room temperature, it is remarkably similar to nylon, a hard white plastic. But, heat it up to 60o, and it becomes soft, putty-like. You can then easily mold it using your fingers without burning yourself. Oh, yes, it's also biodegradable and approved for medical use! I just use a heat gun till the stuff becomes clear and then shape it.
So far, I have made about 4-5 prototypes and already see some improvement in contact. I am sure that I will eventually find the perfect shape for my anatomy, and if not, I can always revert back to the original!
I know some of you will want to try this, Polymorph can be found in hobby/craft stores as 'Instamorph', or 'Friendly Plastic'. Or you could probably get it off eBay.
Here is a picture of one of my prototypes. It's actually hard to tell the differences in the two materials.

Just out of curiosity, you attached plastic to the device, right? At first glance I thought you'd bent the Aneros to get that shape.

@Derp you say you have read a lot on this forum.Dont know what you are reading but littered through out the forum in plain sight is the fact that it takes months and sometimes years for blokes to awaken their prostate. Until then you dont feel anything on your prostate. Every person that has modified a progasm has regretted it too.
While I admire your creativeness you need to realise that one month is nothing you have only dipped your toe in the warm waters it will be many months until you jump in and can actually swim!
I really hope that bit of plastic is attached well because if it comes off a sharp part could puncture your bum pipe.
Hope it all goes well for you though but bare in mind you are built the same as all of us, how is it that your insides are different as you claim..... Just saying

I agree with @breaveneworld, completely normal to not feel anything in the beginning. Besides that, the amount of pressure the Aneros puts on your prostate is very minimal. I would compare it to rubbing your eye, that kind of pressure. Once the prostate has been awakened that little bit of pressure can feel magnificent!

@inerverknew, the thing is that I did feel something. Actually, the first time I put in the Progasm I felt it touching my prostate, and even though that session was very brief, I felt an incredible energy afterwards. But since then, I have struggled to reproduce that contact in vain, unless I pushed the Aneros forward somehow. I know there is a path to the awakening. But I think that the Aneros must actually touch the prostate before I actually start to walk down that road.
@braveneworld, I think everybody is different. We wear different shoe sizes, different hat sizes, etc. Even the makers of the Aneros devices recommend different models for short or tall people. I just think that I have found an interesting way to customize the device for my needs. Maybe I'm wrong and I won't create anything better, but I doubt it. In any case, I will report my findings here for those who may be interested.

@Derp go for it. I am no expert but I have seen hundreds of men on this site, me included when I started who said the aneros did not contact their prostate. I and they have all been wrong as the device does actually contact the prostate and once the user learns how to use the device correctly and goes through rewiring feels the pleasure on a constant basis. With the progasm you can not help but have contact with the prostate. Thats the point but if you and your body dont know what to do with it then not much will happen.I was not dissing your plastic work it looks good just pointing out to be careful. @inerverknew point is right too much pressure is bad it is the subtle pressure that is needed.
I have never heard of a doctor not being able to find and touch a mans prostate with his/her finger 2 to 2.5 inch fingers....
But your right we are all different and you may be different from most other people.
Not sure thats a good thing but you seem happy with it so thats all that matters.
Was just trying to offer you advice that it is touching your prostate and to give it time, No modification was needed just practice. It seems like the newbies of late know whats best so I will shutup and keep my advice to myself. Thats fine I listened and I am already there.

I agree with @braveneworld above me! I to said it didn`t make contact before it awakened.

How do you clean that material? Since it melts over 60 degrees celsius?
