Simple question
Am I supposed to squeeze just my anus or squueze the anus and penis so that penis moves when I squeze?
it hasn't been stated anymore. where.
I'm also wondering this. I at least know that if it's involuntary, it doesn't matter... maybe that was obvious to you though. I usually just let my body squeeze both (involuntarily).

I tested this without the Progasm. Just squeezing my anus feels a lot better than squeezing the anus and penis. I think the anus squeeze is then focused better.
Also, I remember reading from this Aneros site that they instructed to "now squeeze the penis PC muscle as well", indicating that the original contraction exercises should be anus only.
It might be hard to figure out how to do that alone, but like closing only one eye at a time, eventually you'll master it.
Anyone else notice this as well?
Let's back up a bit. There are several types of contractions that we generally consider in regards to our Aneros sessions: anal, PC and rectal contractions. Of the 3 the PC and anal contractions are the most important with respect to the movement of the massager. Anal contractions are those that close the anal opening, they are responsible for that clenching that one experiences at the end of a bowel movement. PC muscle contraction is associated with shutting off the flow of urine (in reality there are muscular portions of the prostate that play a role as well.....more on that later).
While many people consider these contractions one in the same they are not. The reason for the misunderstanding owes to the mechanics of the musculature....if you contract hard enough anally you will invariable produce a PC muscle contraction as well. These are two distinct processes that often work in combination with one another. That said, it is possible to employ these contractions separately as well. Why would you want to do this? Because each contractions provides different kinds of results. Of the two, anal contractions produce more movement of the massager and sensations (initially) of greater intensity. These stronger contractions bring greater pressure to bear on the prostate.
High intensity PC contractions generally involve anal contractions as well so there fairly indistinguishable. Low level PC contractions are a different story. These contractions produce subtle movement of the massager and yield very subtle sensations. However, these sensations are often the most productive in the sense of forwarding oneself towards a Super-O.
Rectal contractions are the ones associated with pushing out a bowel movement. Given that rectal contraction is the antagonist to anal contraction, it stops the Aneros and/or pulls it away from the prostate. These contractions are therefore used only occasionally for purposes of variety. The last type involves the contraction of the muscular portions of and/or sphincters of the prostate. While there is likely no movement of the Aneros that occurs as a result of contraction of these muscles it may a source of some arousal nonetheless.
It should be said that the muscles commonly work in combination with PC contractions. So, what type of contractions are best for Aneros sessions? All of the above. It's much like putting together a terrific recipe, you need to find the combination that works best for you! In my own case, it depends on how long I want my session to be. If I was looking something more leisurely, I'd start with anal contractions or combined anal-pc contraction (higher intensity anal contraction), to warm myself up and shift to PC contraction to facilitate the Super-O. Then as the orgasm was eminent I might plant a thought in my mind to use some more vigorous anal contractions. It's like an orgasmic donut...start with anal, shift to pc then return to anal. NICE! If I wanted a quicker paced track to a Super-O I would likely begin with the PC contractions and use them throughout. But that's me...and I like to change things all the time as well. It's up to you to make up your own magical melange. Explore and enjoy, BF Mayfield

Is this what I've been calling "revese kegel" or "pushing out?"

Rectal contraction are indeed the pushing out contractions associated with bearing down during a bowel movement.

Ahh, I use these as a tease then....
