After probably ten tries with the helix I finally felt something the other day. It felt good, not incredible but very much different from anything I've experienced before. It felt as if it was building up to something but I didn't have the strength to hold it there for long enough.
What do I do now? Just keep trying, or is there anything I need to do to make progress? I always prelube before using it as it seems to work a lot betetr that way. I have yet to get an erection while using the helix, is this normal?
Thanks guys.
Hello, fleshlife.
Welcome to the "club." It's good to hear something is happening with the Helix for you.
I hope you've taken the time to read the relevant parts of the Wiki (link at top of this page). There are many tips in there that will help you make progress. However, it's impossible to say exactly which techniques will work best for you. This is one of those deals where everybody has a different response.
As for erections during Aneros use, there are no reliable statistics regarding the user population. A survey on this site among members of this Forum indicated that about a third of users have erections during sessions. All varieties of Aneros-induced orgasms can be obtained without an erection, so don't get hung up on that factor. Check out the polls section to get a feel for how the membership views many aspects of Aneros use.
The important thing is, keep on practicing. Involve your partner if you have one. Most of us here discovered it gets better and better the more you do it, within reason of course.
Best of luck to you, and...
Cheers,
Dave
Hi fleshlife and welcome,
congratulations on the awakening of your prostate -- takes awhile for most gents. Once awake your prostate will reward you with increasing pleasure. There will be times when you plateau and occasionally you may take a 'break' for a few days or perhaps a few weeks. Enjoy the journey!
And as 'ten' pointed out, erections are just incidentals along the way and have little to do with the dry-orgasms you'll experience. Most of us find them to be just a novelty to ignore or a nuisance that gets in the way of free and easy movement.
enjoy .... rook
Sooo tired, sooo physically discombobulated... workin on a project...
Rook, you're pretty harsh about the whole erection thing. For me, when I'm having any kind of success using the progasm, I am constantly hard without break. Erections themselves have become pleasurable. I wouldn't be surprised if my penis broke a few speed records for going from flaccid to erect. Not only that, I've been experiencing (and with my own eyes) moments when my cock will go from erect to super-erect (where the penis fully inflates as if it's about to ejaculate) which is intensely pleasurable. To me, this is just insane. This happened *after* an aneros session. How is my body doing these things? It's like my penis is stimulating itself.
fleshlife,
Where do you go from here? Just keep an open mind, have patience and keep exploring. If you haven't done so already now might be a good time to do some reading in the Aneros WIKI too! The WIKI contains the distillation of knowledge from several experienced users. It's filled full of helpful tips and perspective on what's ahead. Be sure to check it out.
In so far as the question on erection goes, the way that it is, some guys become erect when they have Super-O's some do not. Having an erection is neither a good or a bad thing, it is simply natural for some men to respond to this kind of arousal in this way. Once you have a Super-O you will find out what is natural for you. The main thing is, the journey is not about having or not having an erection. Follow the path to the Super-O and let your body respond to it in the way that it does.
Enjoy!
