Sleeping with aneros impossible for me because of clenching

Does anyone else know the feeling of clenching too hard and too abruptly with an aneros toy inserted? For example, at the end of urinating, the nervous system sends a signal to clench the PC muscles once or several times. With my helix syn in, that clench is really intense, as it is like going from 0-60 immediately, with the toy ramming into my prostate. So I tend to concentrate heavily to avoid clenching when taking a pee break. It's like a game and I am only successful every other time.

When I fall asleep with my helix inserted (I often just sort of drift off to sleep after a night session, as it exhausts me), I am always woken up rather abruptly several minutes later by one of these strong clenches. It happens over and over-- sleep, clench, wake up-- every few minutes until I get up and take the toy out. Does anyone else get this? Is there any hack to avoid this? I would like to try a full night's sleep with a toy inserted but my body seems to say NO! Perhaps I need to try it without having a session before, so inserting and going directly to sleep (if I am capable of refraining from playing...)? Or perhaps I should try with a different toy (I only own the helix for now)?

I don't own a helix nor any silicone Aneros toys but I used to have a nexus Revo and I thought it had too much friction because of the silicone surface. I ruined it by using a wrong kind of lube though, but even so. I prefer using plastic, glass or steel because of the frictionless gliding. Not sure if this is what is causing your 'problem'.

@Mitaru I don't know if that is what is causing it... it doesn't seem like a friction thing though, just a sudden pressure thing I think. You have glass and steel prostate massagers?? Tell me more...

I've got a Njoy pure wand and some glass prostate dildo's that I like. I think it's a preference thing, I enjoy smooth surfaces.

My prostate massagers are all Aneros and plastic though, but my comment was meant in general. Like when inserting and taking out the silicone one I had it felt more intense, especially when it was getting a bit dry. Maybe I could describe it as a wet latex glove on the skin. Where the friction makes it uncomfortable. I also think this made the massaging and the clenching more intense than a device that is smoother. This was years ago though and maybe I could enjoy it now with more experience. I might try this in the future.

I think this clenching or contracting is something that is enjoyable but as I understand from your post a bit too much to be able to sleep with? I know when I want to relax and have one in for a longer time I tend to go with the Eupho or a Peridise that I have. A smaller, less aggressive, model could also be worth trying. I don't know.

I personally don't sleep with an Aneros in, I value my sleep too much and take every hour that I can. Maybe someone that does have a sleeping routine could chime in on this?
