Is it ok to trying sleeping while aneros is inserted? ...wondering if it could be harmful, or over-stimulation...it's given me a lot of pleasure when occasionally used during the day

In a word, Yes! But don't be surprised if your sleep gets interrupted by late night arousal or meybe even a spontaneous orgasm.

I use the Vice and I have done it several times. The vice is made of silicone and doesn't have the same push or poke as the plastic models and so is much more comfortable. If youre using a plastic model than its really just a question of wether you can get comfortable with it inside you. It's also a very good idea to use a long lasting lube so that it doesn't cause internal irritation. I actually use a condom with a light coat of extra lube applied on the outside (for easy insertion). A condom has enough give to allow plenty of movement and comfort and it doesn't fade or get absorbed like some lubes. (If you use a vice make sure to use non lubricated condoms because the lubricated ones use a silicon based lubricant that will erode the surface of the vice.)
