i received and tried the aneros 1 week ago for about a 2 hour duration.
i was not as relaxed as i could be, noticing that the prostate contact was feeling more on the sensitive/tender side than pleasurable side (however there were a few moments were i was able to see that this could truly be intense).

i chalked up this mini failure last week to simply the result of being generally stressed, overworked, and non sexual for 5 years, having had no prostate contact/massage previously.

however, for the past week, without any further insertions of any kind, i have been feeling what i can only describe as prostate pain. right now i can literally feel or locate where my prostate is simply because of the dull ache, sometimes feeling like a dull pulsing, eminating from it.

i have this feeling that it is swollen or possibly infected, possibly from so much vigorous contact with the aneros as well as from contact with fecal matter on the aneros.

is this type of infection possible from aneros first time use, or is this very unlikely and i should give it more time before going to see a specialist. i hate to waste time and money and possibly take needless antibiotics for what may amount to nothing.

Dear SS:

We would like to have more details about your experience. This is a very uncommon situation.

What sort of methods or techniques did you use with the Aneros? Lubrication? Manual manipulation? Positioning?

Although a few people have reported some soreness in the past, this seems to be attributable to improper usage. Specifically, manipulating the Aneros by hand. We always advise against this method and always recommend using only the PC & sphincter muscular contractions to maneuver the Aneros. However, we obviously have no control over how the product is used in private. Nevertheless, we would advise against using the Aneros until the sensitivity decreases.

We feel that it is most likely a feeling that will pass shortly, but something that you should be attentive to. Using the massager for 2 hours on the first attempt seems somewhat excessive, especially if "vigorous contact" is involved. The Aneros is designed for gentle but repetitive prostate massage And does not normally yield "vigorpus contact" without manipulation. Please contact us directly by writing to @aneros.com">support@aneros.com if you have further questions. We certainly wish you a speedy recovery and want to remain informed about all the details of your situation.
