Shea butter and slipperiness

Hello,

I'm using my aneros 2.5 years now, i own The Vice, Helix classic and the peridise set.

I have been using unrefined shea butter as luberication for 1 year now before that i used ID-Glide.

I'm bit stuck making progress, i'm thinking that the shea butter is blocking my progress.
Shea Butter isn't so slippery compared to other lubes like id-glide or other brands..
Tho Shea Butter is very long lasting... like 2.5 hour and still going.
I read a lot on this forum and my thoughts is that its important to start warmth up and get horny so the prostate is swollen so that its better been hit by the massager.
Also i think that the first 15 min of a session is pretty important for success.
Im feeling that thers not much slipperiness to get the aneros moving, thats why i think shea butter is slowing me down compare to other lubrication's.
Most of times i add some durex lubricants on my massager the improve the slipperiness of the start of the session, this helpt make some progress.

My question is if any one else is experiencing that slippery lube is key to get a session going.
Also whats the best combination to get your Shea butter slippery at the start, is it worth to buying another KY gel or ID glide to mix or use separately.
I haven't used them for 1.5 years now so i might have better progress going back to those lubes.

My current state is that i recently found exactly where to place my Aneros, on top of my sweet spot (turnd bit to right).
This new sweet spot gave me some better feelings. Took me a while notice this because al the sessions where mostly the same until one session my massager gave me a new feeling and moved it self in place to bit to right.
This one session i had a weird feeling like if i needed to pee, it gave me some kind of warm flows down in my prostate, i guess it was some kind of mini-O. I havent reached this feeling once more... tho im really enjoying my sessions it would be nice to get this feeling again.

You could also try to mix sheabutter and coconut oil. Read about it here on the forum. A bit of vaseline in the outside and the rest on the inside ;-). Except for the vaseline, unrefined and there is no smell!!
Melting the butter and the oil, mix together and poor that in a small ice cube thing. Cooling down in the freezer and ready to go

Works fine for me

same here, I can't get unrefined shea butter or organic coconut oil to work for me. Slippery at first, but then when I pull the toy out I have to really pull hard and it hurts! And I'm a lube-friendly dude 🙂 Sadly, and to much dismay on this forum I'm sure, I still use the natural/sensitive skin Astroglide gel. I don't do sessions everyday or even once a week usually, so I'm not that worried. My orgasms thank me!

What i find confusing is what type of astroglide you're all using. There doesn't seem to be one type, no standard one. There is Gel, sensitive skin ones, loads. Which are you using?

i agree with Weaver a good coconut oil or shea butter suppository going in first and then lube up your device with more of the same or a water based lube.

It's the Astroglide sensitive skin gel, it doesn't have the terrible stuff in it and it's so super cheap. Nothing slides like this for as long, I mean it is slippery wet and wonderful, it's so damn good! Been using first Astroglide gel for I guess 5 years and then the sensitive stuff once they made that for the last 6 years. When I need it to be extra slippery I pull the toy out, dunk it in warm/hot water really fast, and then put it back in, move it in and out a few times to lube up nice and it's autofuck town for a long time!

almost everyone here would not suggest this lube (I'm guessing) but I certainly would.

yes I tried sliquid booty formula, wound up being not good at all. I have tried several water based lubes, they just feel "dry" and not slippery enough at all 🙁

so this astroglide sensitive, is it water based lube? If so then it's garbage, water level lubes suck

Not all water based lubes "suck". I've had quit a bit of success with Slippery Stuff Gel and Gun Oil H2O. Maximus is not bad too.

Sliquid had a purgative effect on me.

At the moment I'm a fan of coconut oil.

I agree, by nature water-lubes dry up pretty quickly and I'm not keen on having to pull out and reinsert the toy again and again. It breaks the flow a little. On that note though, I have jumped to oil for the above reason, but also because I'm seeing if retail lubes are causing my skin irritation.

Made some shea butter + coconut oil lube, and it seems to of done the job so far. It doesn't feel slippery, but still gives the devices manoeuvrability. (Although my only session so far wasn't exactly long) Insertion can be a little disconcerting at first, because the oil isn't thick like general lubes, so feels like you're inserting something dry.

If you use a syringe/lube applicator to inject about 5ml up your bum, water based lubes actually last quite a long time.

I don't know, this astroglide never dries out and if it does I'm usually riding a huge dildo and the air and friction exposure to the toy causes it to dry out. But when aneros or another prostate-oriented toy is in me, it's got a mind of its own and fucks me like crazy.

@Sorena what water based lubes have you tried that "suck" so bad? Maybe you're tried shitty water based lube. Astroglide sensitive, like I said, works great for me. I have more orgasms than i can count when using it, while when I tried shea, coconut, or a mix of the two, I had at best just one dry O, and absolutely never a super O. I literally have a prostate orgasm within 1 to 2 minutes of inserting aneros or zini in me, and always with astroglide sensitive gel. I guess I'm just more susceptible to water based gel in my ass!

Water lubes on the device don't work for me -- my anus strips it off as I insert it and I end up with the lube on the outside. Instead, I use a syringe to inject water-based lube.
When I finish a session and clean the device I then coat it with warmed shea butter for next time.

by device you mean the metal aneros toy? Metal never really works for me, like you said the lube just gets stripped off. The plastic and other materials, including silicone, work good

That's why I use Vaseline on the toy and outer side of my butt. That way the toy slides in easily. On the inner side I do a mix of shea butter and coconut oil. Next I' ll try to add KY-gel too. Just see if the toy moves smoother.

Oh, yeah, good point.
