Hello Everyone, 🙂
I just wanted to let people know that I just found out that the forum search has an option in the advanced search page to get results sorted by relevance first. Where as by default, any search done here will bring results up by most recent date first, and then by relevance. This issue has been going on since I joined here a few years back. So I'm quite happy to at least see an option to modify the results. To do so, goto the following link:
Advanced Search - Aneros Forum
(Generally you can only get to this page after you have done a standard search, and then click on the red word “Search” that sits right above the “Notifications” button. )
Type in whatever keywords you want, and then at the bottom, open up the drop down menu for “Sort results by”, and change it to “Relevance”. Just below this you can also choose to save your search preferences. Hopefully this makes it easier for people to find relevant posts here in the forum.

Thanks Love_is, I doubt I would have ever noticed this.
No problem Aneros downunder. 🙂 It's only when you have been here for a while that you know there some certain post from a year back or more you need to reference, but you either can't find it because all the most recent stuff is first, or you have to drudge through pages and pages of results before you find it. So this was a nice find.

One quick note...
I thought that by saving the search preferences it would make it so that it is used in the standard search box on the web page. But this is not so. You still have to use advanced search to get results by relevance.
