Safe lube?

Hi, I was wondering if Gun Oil H2O is a safe lube to be using with Aneros?

Oh, one more thing. I don't inject the lube... I was just wondering if it is safe to apply a little to the aneros before inserting. Thanks

Although the Gun Oil isn't one I have used, I have read that it's good???

As far as application, if it is liquid, I sometimes inject some inside and on the Aneros I use Albolene, which is similar to the consistency of petroleum jelly,
which I use also, if I'm out of Albolene! (The idea is that a liquid doesn't stay on the Aneros as well; it runs off!)

It's hard to use too much lube . . .

Well thank you for the response but I was talking more about the safety to myself. I have read that many people seem to be concerned on this board about using lube because of it going into the blood streem from the anus?

I don't know how safe any of the commercial lubes are for extended exposure within the rectum. The chemical composition of these lubes may be perfectly safe for topical use, but one has to wonder about their presence and absorption sitting in our rectums frequently for many hours at a time. I doubt any of these lubes have been tested for this type of use.
