Never done it but I'll give my 2 cents anyway. 

Like you say it seems like a good idea in theory, in reality as an hetero man I don't know if I could make it work. I think that it would enhance the experience during the session, but would be very awkward right after. And before. In reality I'm probably not open-minded enough to try it and wouldn't be able to relax at all. 

I remember a thread from years ago were a user attended (or wanted to attend ?) some kind of prostate massage workshop where people touched and caressed each other but I can't find it right now and don't remember any more details...

I have done it with another man in the local male spa.

I arranged to meet him there, he got there first so I met him in the lounge.  He said he already had a device inserted and was feeling some nice sensation.  I got ready and we just spooned each other in a private room.  It was nice feeling someone else twitching close to me. 

It was a nice experience but I wouldn't say it was one of my best rides.

That must have be hot to spoon and know the other man was experiencing similar sensations.  Was it distracting your pleasure or heightened the experience?  

The close contact with another heightened the session but I did not feel I could really let myself go.
