Removing the K tab on the Vice?

The vice is my first prostate massaging model and for the most part, it's been fantastic. I said most part here because while I get that the K-tab is supposed to be an acupuncture point, I find that after using it for a few minutes that it gets rather sore and takes away from the experience. I've tried using a few squares of tissue paper for buffering it, but it doesn't quite soften it as much as I'd like.
Is there a way to remove the K-tab or would it upset the entire balance of the device? I'm not talking the P-tab, just the K-tab.

My initial though is to not carve away any of the silicone material--the surface will probably be more rough.

I have a similar issue due to heavy Glutes that offer too much drag, making it difficult for the Vice to freely move when I'm in my favorite position (right side).

The only positions that give the Vice freedom from this drag are Belly or Doggie with my Glutes splayed. A dab Vaseline or Crisco on the K-tab also helps 'free-up' the Vice so that it can do it's job.

I've not tried greasing the entire toy but that is now tempting.

I don't think it's really an issue of it moving around, it pretty much stays in the same place and keeps moving inwards and outwards on that spot, constantly pressing on it. That in turn makes it sore and takes away almost completely from the experience for me.

I have not noticed that with the Vice. I did when I first got the Progasm Ivory, but I think that was just over achievement 😀
