Havent been able to try yet, as I am awaiting mine in the mail, but is it possible to experience a standard penile orgasm right before using an aneros and still experience it fully, or will it make it harder to experience the p and o waves?

Sometimes I masturbate a bit before hand and can still have a good session. I feel like avoiding orgasm for a day or two sometimes makes the aneros orgasm easier and stronger though.

If your libido is super high you can a penile orgasm before, but it might be counterproductive.

I agree that the "right" time for a session varies greatly. I've had sessions just a couple hours after a "traditional" o that were just as intense as those when I've abstained completely for a couple of days.
