Can someone bump the thread or copy n paste the link for topic about cutting the non perineum leg off the aneros and it's benefits; how it's done and different variations?

First, read the Wiki. It's got good stuff.

Second. It's been my experience with both my Helix and my Progasm, that the tailpiece just gets in the way and prevents the Aneros from moving freely in your rectum.

I removed both down to a nice smooth nub. I also bent the P-tab on the Helix SLIGHTLY up to allow for even more movement. I have found that on both models, the removal of the tailpiece has resulted in a much better experience with both toys.

Use a side cutters for the Helix, and then take a fine file and smooth out the rough edges. I found that the fine sander and then the buffer on my Dremel Tool works great. For the Progasm, I used a hack saw to cut it off, and then the aforementioned tools to work it and polish the nub. Clamp it GENTLY in a vice with some padding to protect the wonderful finish on the toy while you saw it off.

DON'T CUT OFF THE P-TAB!!! Tongue in cheek warning, but important, nonetheless.
