Hello,
I'm interested in the peridise but there are a few things which concern me.
Can somebody tell me wether the plastic casing of the Aneros is basically sealed?
Cause to me it looks like one of those plastic cases which can simply be opened and then closed again.
I'm not in the US and I can only order the peridise from online stores or sex stores and I'm concerned about
hygiene.
I also would like to know what material is the peridise made of? Could the peridise for example be cleaned with
70% alcohol to kill off viruses and bacteria or would this damage the surface?
And how is it when you use the peridise with a condom? Does this work? I imagine that when you put the peridise
in a condom then it can't really move around the way it's supposed to be.
@jayz,if you are concerned about purchasing from online stores and are not prepared to trust the Aneros online store, why not do as I did, and purchase direct from the manufacturer, High Island Health, (HIH). They call them Peristal but I assure you that they are simply Peridise under their original name.
That should give you some assurance that they are medically sound.
As to cleaning them, I doubt that an alcohol solution would do them any harm. Personally, after washing in bog standard soap and water, I spray all my tools with a light spray of TCP (a liquid antiseptic obtainable anywhere in the UK and also online).
Never tried the condom method. I believe it can lead to leakage and a mess on the sheets!
