Question about Pre-Lubing

I read on the wiki that you could use a infant medicine dropper. My question is, in that or any case is it bad to accidentally shoot air...you know, in there?

small bubble never bothers. it mixes with the lube when you start contractions. a large bubble may 'fart out' during your session. one reason why lying on a towel is important.

Thanks! I wasn't sure it that would be a bad thing or not. I tend to be a worrier!

having tried probably a dozen different types, my current favorite injector is the syringe that comes with infant ibuprofen (not the same as the one that comes with infant Tylenol). it holds about 1.75 ml, and is latex free, so it is compatible with oil-based lubes. it is about the thickness of a drinking straw, the thinnest injector i have found, so it goes in very easily.

the lube i am currently using is albolene, an oil-based make up remover that is famous as a sexual lube. (petroleum jelly, mineral oil and paraffin are its main ingrediants.

I just go to Rite-Aid and ask the pharmacist for a medicine dropper. It's free- just tell them that you lost the syringe that came with your kid's tylenol. They are more than happy to give you one! It's a 5ml dropper that's pretty blunt on the end, making for comfortable insertion!

And don't worry about the air. You'll just fart it out. I think you got this fear from hearing that blowing air into a vagina could cause death, right?

Trivia:

Never thought of doing that! I spend most of my time doing the "Volume-Blasti" where I open the anus and muscularly expel air out of my canal.

Sorry, couldn't resist that one...

I just got three of these to try out as the tip stays connected to the syringe. I was using an oral syringe I got at Walgreens and the tube from my rectal syringe bulb. Got messy at times connecting the two as I use the Slippery Stuff lube but it was a very long tip, at 2½ inches versus 1½ inches for these new syringes. I'll let you know how they work out. 🙂

Rectal Syringe

I really like the Lube Launcher (which I don't have) and the very similar Lube Shooter (which I do have). You get three extra syringes with one cap and piston/rod. The tip is very rounded, which doesn't hurt any of my delicate tissue upon insertion (so long as there is lube on the tip). I've had the one set for 3-4 years, and am on my last syringe, which is holding up quite well.
