Greeting gents.

Had to have well man check as i’m in my 40’s. The usual suspects such as lipids, blood viscosity,BP,PSA level etc  were tested. The usual suspects were all low. However,i was put in for a quick dr consult as she was concerned the PSA test was faulty and would need run again. She further explained that somewhere between 2.4 -4 was normal for my age but mine came back at 0.25 and clearly wasn’t correct. I must admit,I smirked at this and let out a barely audible “That’s A-Less baby!”

I was in the right mood,so I decided to just go for it with the doc and began very dramatically with “Tell me dr,what do you know about prostate massage?” 🙂 She looked ever so slightly uncomfortable which I had to admit, amused me some.

I proceeded to explain parts of the journey to her, along with some details and testimonies form the forum about some men gaining relief from the symptoms of prostate issues, others learning ejaculation control, new pleasures, rewiring and prostate orgasms/MMO. I even pulled up a pic of an aneros toy and explained how it worked. She surprised me saying she has heard of PM but only so far as it was some sort of tantric sex practice, and something guys went to professionals for. I explained it’s become an intrinsic part of my own sex life, and gave some details as to frequency,Kegel routines, draining the fluids to keep everything running like a well oiled machine and stuff like that. I’ll admit now,I thought it prudent to leave out such details as the wife plowing my ass with big dicks strapped to her,the doc wasn’t ready for that lol

When I’d finished, she was happy that the test was accurate after all,and to keep doing what I’m doing. She said it was really interesting to hear about the journey and that she’d look in to the thing a bit more herself. I don’t know, maybe the hubby will get a toy for his birthday lol. I said that maybe the heath service should do info on massage as a possible preventive medicine and maybe part of a treatment plan. She simply said,it’s a good idea, but don’t hold your breath. That was a shame.

All in all,I’m chuffed with the test results. Nothing like seeing over 40 in the mirror, but knowing the prostate is still a horny teenage lad! 🙂

Wow!  I'd be thrilled to have such a conversation with my new doctor when I eventually meet her (my previous doctor moved out of the Province and sold his practice).

It amazes me that not many GPs are well versed in this topic.  Maybe, if they were, more men would benefit from this little pot of golden pleasures!

Thanks for sharing.

@ggringo

Very true my friend. It can be so helpful aswell for guys with issues. I can’t believe the medical community doesn’t tell men about the therapeutic bits at the very least. Crazy.

This is very good news, congradulations. I have to say though, I hope that people reading this don't get the idea that they can skip the Dr. because they use Aneros/ Of all the cancers out there, prostate cancer is the easiest to eradicate when caught early. My Oncologist went so far as to call it the luck of the draw as far as cancers go, especially when caught early.

Helghast, since its simple blood work I would have the test done again, just to be sure. I'm not sure why your Dr. didn't recommend it, even after your testimonial.

I use it and I didn’t skip the dr. I’m sure everyone will use common sense.

Simply because she wasn’t in possession of all the facts. Once she knew my gland is drained often,it explained why my levels are much lower for my age group.  So it made sense to her. Besides,in the U.K.,dr’s don’t do Jack shit unless they need to.

Gents,

My father died with prostate cancer, as I've mentioned in previous post(s). Just recently, I heard a nurse who has embraced more natural treatments and approaches to medicine state that supplementing zinc is a potential lifesaver because it keeps testosterone from converting to a form that fuels prostate cancer. I apologize that I do not have concrete data to verify this, however zinc is essential to healthy sexual function for men. I spent 10 years in nursing, and have a very strong distrust for the medical establishment and big pharma. I have no doubts that such information would be downplayed as have many other treatments for cancer that actually work - even Ivermectin! Big pharma has never wanted to kill the goose (cancer) that laid the golden egg!

In any case, make your health decisions as you see fit. Remember that you are what you eat, and food is the best medicine.

This is a sticky point. Zinc in normal amounts aids sexual function as you say. It’s also a prostate cancer cell inhibitor to a degree. They did research though that showed over supplementation of zinc actually made guys twice as likely to develop advanced prostate cancer. Like the old saying, too much of anything is bad for you. However pablo, you probably need to be extra careful as you’ve a genetic link to PC through your father.
If guys are concerned about vitamin and mineral etc levels, have a blood panel done and see where they are. If you’re low in something, supplement. If things aren’t low, leave them alone. IMO supplementing something that you don’t need could cause issues down the line, not to mention the fact you’re wasting your money.

The old dr advice is still best. Eat a balanced diet, exercise, watch the alcohol, don’t smoke lol.

My PSAs last year were on the lower side of perfect and I worried maybe they might be high because I hadn't had them checked before, and who knows what massage from toys actually does because it hasn't been studied by the medical community. I didn't bring up my sexual activities, but just chalked up my good scores to my activities being healthy and beneficial.

I take zinc once a day, a 22mg pill usually. Its more than enough and does not over do it. On days or weeks I have to be around more people, I take 40-50mg a day, small doses in morning and evening with food. I've taken zinc the same way for over 20 years and notice nothing in my yearly physicals and blood work that has made any doctor worry, or me worry.

Thanks for this note and update OP!!! We need it!

PSA can fluctuate and certain things can spike it, heavy exercise (weights in particular), having sex, and toughing your prostate. It amazes me how a doctor will do a digital prostate exam and after take your blood for lab work, which may then show a skewed PSA.

A few years ago, I had prostatitis, which elevated my PSA. I had very sore vas deferens and a highly pressurized feeling prostate. I never knew where my vas defers were before, but with having prostatitis, I can now map where they are. I have a naturopath and he suggested herbs and prostate massage to alleviate it. That was how I introduced to Aneros and later Super-Os. The prostate massage relieved the prostate pressure in less than a week.

I also had a physical and blood work done around this time by my primary care doctor. Because my PSA was elevated out of the normal range, the doctor was concerned (alarmed wouldn't be an exaggeration) even though it was prostatitis and he sent me for an MRI, which revealed no cancer at all. It took almost two months to get my PSA back to a normal range.

@techpump They gave them up to 100mg per day and it caused some issues I think. Then again, there’s probably guys who wouldn’t get prostate cancer no matter what they did.

@pablito1963 very True. Take care of your health by eating good. Big pharma only makes money when you are sick.

Hello, the education of a doctor is good, but it is definitely worth increasing it.
Now that we're talking about dissertations, I want to tell you something good. Recently, the dean of our medical faculty said that if someone writes an excellent thesis, he will receive a presidential degree from the mayor of the city. Without thinking for a long time, I decided to use the support of ghostwriter sites https://www.bestghostwriters.net/ I remember two years ago they helped me stay in academia, for which I am very grateful to them
