Hi Guys, I just finished watching a YouTube presentation on Prostate Health by Dr. John Bergman which I highly recommend all men view. It is full of great information presented in an readily understood manner and with a sense of humor. It is almost 40 minutes long but it goes very quickly. For those men who are not real familiar with their own anatomy this is a must see. I have added this link to my post in the Cherry Picks group as well. Good Vibes to You !
@rumel Informative and entertaining! If anyone is interested, here is Dr. Bergman's bio (from his website):
"Dr. Bergman is a board certified chiropractor who received his doctorate from Cleveland Chiropractic College one of the leading chiropractic schools in the country. Once he graduated he taught anatomy, physiology, and chiropractic techniques for 8 years and he is currently an adjunct faculty member at the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic. In addition to maintaining a successful practice for 20 years, Dr. Bergman has spent the majority of his time researching the most effective methods of natural healing. He’s developed extremely effective chiropractic techniques to reshape the structure of the spine and restore normal biomechanics, that when combined with natural healing methods can reverse many diseases by correcting underlying problems and stimulate proper function of the organ systems. He has also written 11 books and he’s constantly traveling around the world to teach doctors and the general public about the human body and natural healing."
Rumel, Thanks for posting the video, I have always had my doubts about the PSA test and associated biopsy and I now know I won't be having it.
Wow. Thanks for sharing that! I had no idea how questionable the PSA test is. I'm floored!
Dr Bergman is a great speaker and speaks on all aspects of health. Anyone interested in their health should check out his other videos - there is a shitload of them.
He really tells it like it is and generally bashes mainstream medicine.
thanks for the sharing
watching it makes me wanna poke my prostate again lol
@rumel Thank you for posting this! Dr. Bergman is very interesting and appears to be extremely knowledgeable. I have BPH and an elevated PSA count. No one has ever explained to me, in any understandable way, what causes BPH. So his discussion about muscle tone was fantastic. He also mentioned using devices to stimulate blood flow. Obliviously the Aneros is a fine example of such a device as I assume it stimulates blood flow.
Due to my BPH and high PSA, I have had two biopsies(both negative)via the rectum. Let me tell ya, both hurt around an 7 or 8 on the 1-10 scale, even with meds. Don't have one done unless the doc is really concerned about the PSA count. After the procedure you'll have blood in your urine and semen for at least a couple of weeks, maybe a month or more. Cumming blood is one of the most repulsive body events that I have ever experienced. F'ing GROSS. I've also had prostate ablation where they burn out some of the tissue to allow for better urine flow. That one was a full 10 painful and I advise no one have it done whilst awake, ever. The procedure was effective but also had me peeing and cumming blood for way too long.
Point is, prostate health is something we shouldn't take for granted and the symptoms and treatments for BPH are not fun. Dr. Bergman offers some sound excellent advice to keep your prostate healthy. Routinely using the Aneros device might be one of the best ways to combat BPH, lower your PSA and perhaps avoid early onset of prostate cancer. I don't know if the device has helped me but I'm not quitting anytime soon. Session away!
