Progress so far, P-tab not on perineum?

I've been experimenting with Aneros for about 2 years now. I started with the Progasm but found it uncomfortable because of it's size. I then ordered a MGX Classic. Having the MGX inserted feels nice, but usually nothing more happens than 'it feels nice'. I feel a burning, tickling sensation near my prostate, but I find it very hard to make that feeling grow. It feels like something is missing that can 'fuel the fire'.

During my experimentation with the Aneros I learned a cool trick though; I can now traditionally orgasm by just holding the base of my penis, stroking my perineum and and mentally focussing on the feelings of pleasure and making them grow. Through this way of masturbation I really found where my perineum is, and when I checked with my Aneros inserted, I found out that my Aneros isn't touching that spot at all! My perineum is almost an inch closer to my anus than my P-tab.

My question is, is the P-tab supposed to be right on the perineum? If so, what advice do you give on how to proceed? Could this be a reason my sessions aren't really advancing?

My question is, is the P-tab supposed to be right on the perineum? The perineum refers to the entire area bounded laterally by the thighs and bounded transversely by the the scrotal sac and the anus. This entire area is usually sensitive to stroking pressure and responds pleasurably. I believe what you are referring to is what is called in the Aneros WIKI the "Sweet Spot" or in Taoist teachings it is called the "Million Dollars Point" See 'BFMayfield's post "In Search of the Sweet Spot" also.If so, what advice do you give on how to proceed?Read the links I provided above to locate the spot. Read the WIKI section Modification to the Aneros and 'BF Mayfield's post ANEROS MODIFICATIONS.Could this be a reason my sessions aren't really advancing? There are so many variables influencing the outcome of any particular Anerosession it is difficult to isolate any one item as THE particular variable that is causing a blockage to progress. Yes it could be a reason but it may not be the reason. I have never been able to locate my sweet spot after seven years of practice but I have still been able to have Super-O's so I know at least my sweet spot is being stimulated even if I can't be sure of its location.
Good Vibes to You !

I agree with @AneRico, the p tab and perineum contact is not an important factor in super O's for me, or at least I never feel anything there, never worried about it.

Thanks for your advice guys. You convinced me to not modify the p-tab, at least for a while. If I keep getting no results, I might reconsider.

It is not recommended that the P-Tab be removed and or modified. This will cause the Aneros not function properly.
