I bought a Vice 2 earlier this year, as I was interested in the vibrating side of things. I haven't used it yet, as I've been too intimidated by its size. As soon as I found out about the release of the Helix Syn V, I've been using that with great success (if success means lots of P Waves, but only still being stuck on the HFWO train).
I've heard great things about the Progasm, and wondered if being taken control of by that toy is what I need to put myself back on the path to the Super O - but wondered how it compares, size wise, to the Vice 2.
Does anyone here have both the Progasm and the Vice 2, and can comment on the relative sizes? According to the specs on the Website, there is only .05" size difference between the widest parts of the tips and the middle bulge. Based on that measurement, I'm wondering if I should just use the Vice 2 (without vibration) to experience something that size - if they really are almost identical when it comes to dimensions.

Yes, I have both models. Here is a picture of them side by side. As you can see the Vice 2 is slightly larger at the mid bulge and longer than the New Progasm model. However, the New Progasm model does have a slightly larger head and a significantly smaller anal waist dimension, this may be more comfortable for longer Anerosessions.
Good Vibes to You!
Thanks for the detailed side by side comparison, Rumel. It does look like there is still a good reason for me to try the new Progasm, even if I'm still a bit too scared of the Vice 2 to use it. It's an expensive toy to leave sitting around, but I'm sure I will give it a try at some point.
The anal waist measurement difference alone suggests the Progasm is more suited to somebody more used to the other Aneros models for longer sessions, as you pointed out. It's the "constant spread" factor of the Vice 2's neck that is the most frightening part.
Meanwhile, the Helix Syn V has been the most amazing out of the line up I've tried yet, although descriptions of how the Progasm "takes control" of a session sound quite compelling.
If as @rumel elsewhere said, I find the Vice 2 to be essentially a vibrating Progasm, I’ll be really pleased. It initially had taken me a few tries to get comfortable with Progasm Ice, but it is one I go back to often. I ordered a Vice 2 on the Aneros “Black Friday” sale. I’m looking forward to it. A “Syn Progasm” I think @rumel also wrote(?); how interesting!
