I initially responded a participant’s post because of his seeming ‘on-the-fence’ feelings about the Progasm -- a regular member [ SuperSeeker619 ]; and since then, I’ve made a couple of additional posts of my own, one which generated some ‘suggested readings’ -- a veteran member [ rumel ]. I’ve not read them all, but what I have found is that each man’s experience as he uses an Aneros product is highly idiosyncratic, and a record of mine comprise the bulk of this report:
While my use of the Progasm has not been extensive during the weeks that I’ve possessed it, it has been sufficient to convince me of its effectiveness; and each use (and reading) has prompted me to enhance the experience. For instance, curious about the effect of internal lubricant, I acquired some Liquid KY, and soon realized that an applicator would be desirable, as well as a protective pad for the linens on which I recline. Also, at ease now with some casual stroking of my cock and balls during the Progasm session, I no longer worry, “Am I doing this the right way?” And following the lead of others who post to this forum, I now regularly enjoy contractions of the pelvic musculature whenever the opportunity arises, with-or-without the device in place -- Please See 'NOTES' Below -- (**) Contractions.
The upshot is that my daily sensual experience, generally enhanced, is a welcome addition to my life. Even without the Progasm in place, I have stimulating episodes whenever I care to indulge—hands free! I confess that the outcomes I experience fall short compared to others who post here, but they are a noticeable boost for me, and I suppose that through continued use of the Progasm, they will only improve.
Regarding my approach for my most recent session with the Progasm, I planned a couple of hours, allowing for initial prep, a 1-hour+ use-session, clean-up, and finish. The ‘finish’ part is variable, and may include a nap, a snack, a bath, or just a rest. Initial prep entails arousal and assembly of a few supplies (**), and the clean-up is self-explanatory. The most pertinent item, though, is the method-of-use, to wit:
~ Side-lying: After a bit of experimentation, I’ve concluded that this recommended position—side-lying—is definitely the best one for initial insertion of the Progasm, and that spending a bit of time in that position for the first contractions is beneficial. Then, for me, a few other other positions make the entire session ‘sing’, to wit:
~ Back-lying, knees raised, and even better, with a pillow beneath my lower back/upper hips, rocking forward-and-back to further activate the action of the perineum and kundalini tabs (as well as to enhance the internal action of the Progasm—along with the usual muscle contractions); this is my favorite. Opening and closing my legs in this position, and pulling my knees to my chest adds to the experience (**).
~ Standing-while-completing-pelvic rotations/thrusts and contractions—or in other positions/configurations, e.g., with a partner (**).
~ Other: “Sitting-on-it’ at the side of the bed, walking about with the Progasm in place, making sure to include some rotational/thrusting hip movement, as well as the usual contractions.
---------------------- NOTES:
(**) Contractions: I’m fairly certain that the major contractions are of the ‘levator ani’ group (rectal/anal), but I also enjoy contractions of a group that are ventral to that (serving the perineal/scrotal/penile area).
(**) Initial Prep: In addition to laying out the Progasm and the original tube of KY jelly, paper-toweling, and a protective pad, I now include some Liquid KY and a few other disposables:
~ for introducing the liquid lubricant internally, a 10cc syringe-with-cap (of the baby/doggy medicine-administration type). NOTE: Be prepared for after-session ejection of the liquid.
~ for general hygiene, a latex glove for one hand, and a finger-cot (removable after applying lubricant in and around anus).
(**) Back-lying/knees: In this position I don’t have to be careful about inadvertently ejecting the Progasm as I do when in the standing, pelvic rotation/thrust, or walking modes—an issue I manage by gently blocking it with a free finger.
(**) Standing: This type of pelvic-rotation is a movement recommended in one of the videos for pelvic-muscle maintenance (albeit not with the device in place), and the pelvic-thrust is my own addition to the sequence.
