Hi,

I recently got the Progasm Junior. I am wondering if it is well-suited to my anatomy, or if I should get a different model for my Super-O journey.

1. The device seems to stick out of my anus, so doesn't seem to be making much contact with the prerenium.
2. If I lay on my back, it slips out.

I have ordered the Advanced Peridise set, hoping to strengthen my PC muscles (and hopefully cure a minor hemorrhoid).

Thoughts? Should I get a different prostate massager, or just persevere?

It's not going in far enough. Ideally the tabs touch to skin. Either something is stopping it or you are not letting the second bulge go past the inner sphincter.

When that second stage goes in past your inner sphincter, your ano-rectal anatomy just naturally pulls it tightly in with the P-tab snug against your perineum without you having to contract your anus or "pull in" with your external sphincter at all. Then, as you relax, the involuntary contractions take over and move it just slightly in and out which results in the prostate massage and the prostate orgasms.

Oh, and the hemorrhoid will get better with regular use, like about twice or three times a week.

I guess I should clarify: it goes in (and contacts the perenium), but then slips.out again. Only stays in if I lay on my side, so my buttocks are effectively holding it in place (which seems to contradict the idea of it needing freedom to move around).

@00BlueM, how about wearing a pair of briefs, be it tighty-whities, bikini, or boxer-briefs. They will assist holding it in, without jamming it hard like you're sitting on it. It will take time to develop your anal/rectal muscles and get them toned and in shape.

@OOBlueM IMHO you would be better off training with a basic model for the first year,Say a Helix or MGX but dont discard JR you will use him latter.
You cant help but collect these lovely devices.
Peridise is good too.
What can i say you can not waste your money!
Practice with the one model for the fist year until you get the pwave and dry O stage down pat then you can start using the advanced models with better results.
Sure use the JR every now and then for a change but stick mainly with the basic one.
Helix is a basic model but gives the most pressure on the prostate.
Above all enjoy your self Pleasure trumps all!

Agree with braveneworld, OO. I'd recommend "training" with something about the middle of the road so to speak, like the old MGX or the new Helix Syn. They're just large enough to get positive contact with your prostate and yet slim enough in the "stem" portion of the massager to easily stay in place, yet mobile enough to move the necessary amount during involuntaries to bring on the great O's you get with these.

@00BlueM

agree with @slim... and @Brave... above !

Since ProJr. is slightly more bulky than Helix it may be triggering some rectal contractions if there's waste material from an incomplete bowel movement. Suggest check that out and explore a diet adjustment if need be. If you are using a glycerin-water based lube consider a swap to something more natural. The forum has multiple threads on lube so review those.

If a change in Aneros model is in the offing, I would prefer a Helix as it's readily 'drawn' inward by most gents in this forum. Additionally it's stem design allows for some automatic compensation for guys with shorter or longer anal canals where as MGX or SGX is more tailored to a narrower range of distance between the inner and outer anal sphincters.

With regard to ProJr. While the YMMV rule applies, I find that I envelop ProJr. rather than drawing it inward. I give it a big hug so to speak. In my first sessions I found that "hug" to sometimes trigger an outward force which you may be experiencing. Give yourself several months with Helix or MGX (SGX if your less than 5'7" tall). Then return to the ProJr.

In short (unusual for me): I vote with isvara... PGjr will be better suited for you later. And I found that even after I had great Helix sessions, PGjr had its own learning curve before it was (and is) able to give me major results. Cheers.

OK I will get a Helix (or Helix Syn, not sure which). I noticed earlier that Jr tends to slip out unless I am relaxed, yet having to keep putting it back in was interrupting my anaerosession relaxation. Yes, underwear helps.

I think you have quite a bit of toning the muscles to do. This is also good for pelvic region health. Benefits in many ways. I slept with the Pro-Jnr in for most of last night. Very comfortable, and still snug in place this morning.
