Progasm 1st Time - Any tips?

Having enjoyed 4 great months with my Helix Syn, I saw a good deal on the Progasm Black Ice and decided to pick one up. Pulling it from the box, the size and texture are definitely intimidating when compared to the Helix Syn. Other than "go slow" and "use plenty of lube," do any experienced users out there have suggestions for a successful 1st session? Any tips would be most appreciated. Thanks.

Start off your session with your helix syn. Then when you're nice and relaxed switch to the progasm. Go slow paying attention to the angle you start inserting at. You'll be surprised at how easily it really does go in.It's not bad at all in it feels really good. 😉

Also with the Progasm, there isn't going to be a whole lot of movement, it's the twitching and hard pressure that you'll feel instead. I love my progasm, except I don't love the soreness afterward. Even just removing it after a long session is a hassle.

If insertion is the issue, I have found from my own experience that inserting the Progasm "upside down" helps immensely.
Once it is in, relax for a bit. Than, (if adequately lubed) rotate the Progasm so the "business end" faces upwards toward the prostate.
This has worked for me on other toys that seemed on the large side.

The advice from Karvec1959 is sound. After some modest success with a Helix, I picked up a Progasm Ice and began switching it in after first warming up with the Helix. The first several sessions with the larger toy were not very impressive -- in part because I think my expectations for it were unreasonably high, never a good thing with any session. After some practice, though, my body is finally now responding to the Progasm, so I'll add that you probably need to be patient (perhaps very patient) and not expect fireworks from the new toy right away.

Thanks for the great suggestions. My first progasm session was a success. I warmed up with the Helix Syn for 20 minutes and then made the switch. I realized quickly that you have to really pay attention to the angle as it goes in, but once I figured it out things went smoothly. Started out in the standard side position, just to get used to the toy. However, when I flipped to my back, that's when things really got started. The increased prostate pressure and the great p-tab contact got things rolling and I soon moved in to a series of Super-Os. I'm looking forward to experimenting further.

I was going to come and give some advice but since you already had your first session, i'll just say congrats 🙂 One thing about the angle...I insert my pro with a little bit of a "scooping" motion. Insert the first part up to the first bend and then "scoop" the rest of it in.

The progasm is one of my favorites because of the nice round p/k tabs...they are so comfortable. I really wish the other models of aneros used the same tabs...i'd probably use em more.

definite scooping motion - but also when 1/2 in, push whole progasm back and scoop a 2nd time. I find this connects very well with the Pspot.
Enjoy the Journey!
