Sex With Emily podcast is always touting the Pour Moi device to help women strengthen their pelvic floor. The device looks interesting and effective.

Given the difference between male and female anatomy, I don't know if the device would work at all on a male. Sure looks like a good way to prepare me for better Aneros sessions. Has anyone tried or know of anything out there like this for men?

@regal13 I agree, it looks interesting! In a... "More is more" kind of way.
There are individual prostate-orientated devices that inflate, vibrate, or electrostim. None I know of that do all three at once.

I've tried anal e-stim and, personally, it did not help with kegels. As far as Aneros goes the two best things about exercising your pelvic floor are sensitivity and control. E-stim only improves strength, which alone isn't very useful.
If you were a beginner, I'd say e-stim could help you learn to mentally relax while your muscles are not within your control, 'faux spasming' from electric jolts. But... y'know...

If you've never tried a vibe before, go for it!! The increased anal awareness provided by years of Aneros/A-less means you REALLY feel the vibes deep. Go for something rumbly and keep it on low x.

Kegels don't need any device inserted to be successful, the most helpful tools are focusing in on those new individual movements/sensations down there and the diligence to keep it up. There's a wealth of muscles down there to gain awareness of 😉

(Shout out to @unfug who helped me immensely online with knowledge about the pelvic floor, for advanced kegels, and more. For me, it was the main factor in further progression.)

I need help! Kegals and breathing worked a year ago, it took about a month or two to get the superO going. I felt great down there. But I lost it. Now, doing those exercises feels like trying to ride a unicycle with a flat tire.

Is this anything like what you tried with e-stim?

@regal13 If you have a mind to try out e-stim, regardless of kegels, there is no harm in it. So long as you do your research and... y'know... everything in moderation 😉
(To anyone thinking of e-stim, be very aware that if you are unpleasantly sensitive to things like pain or temperature in your backdoor, then e-stim is more likely to 'rub you the wrong way'. Be sure to buy from a retailer with an immaculate returns policy.)

After spending some time browsing, I'd say that this Electrastim prostate toy is a good mix between pleasurable and a workout. Having multiple contacts should spread the current to more muscles, in an erotic, rather than harsh, way. It works best with a dual-channel power unit and I can vouch for the brand's safety.

While the one you linked is meant to be inserted anally, it is primarily designed to help with issues like incontinence. It also has no external contact.
It's adjustable "sliding end stop" sounds genuinely useful though. As you don't want to use these things inserted at the wrong depth, you'll get a shock.

Other's opinions about kegels may differ from my own. If you need motivation right now and this new avenue of play is a motivating factor, then I'd honestly be interested to see if your experiences differ from my own.
Either way, you will have learned something.

Currently in a similar situation. Took an extended break, building back up now. Enjoying the subtleties, mostly.

Heheh, that's a great way of putting it.
Hollow as these words might sound, Try not to focus on the negative!
As you said yourself, you've done this before. You know the potential is within you. A positive mind sees the hope in that, a negative mind sees only the frustration of loss.
When you get past this dry spell (and I have faith you will) you'll be better equipped to face or avoid similar hard times in the future. Building up again is not 'lost time' 🙂

If you fancy talking about a different avenue of kegeling, feel free to message me or start/'necro' a different thread.
