I use the aneros helix syn twice a week for my BPH. It has helped immensely as I now sleep thru the night. After my sessions I sometimes leak fluid for a long time afterwards. What is the best position for maximum drainage to reduce the leakage afterwards.

First, it's awesome that the helix is helping with your BPH, those little devices are truly amazing.

As for your question, are you talking about lube leakage, or prostate fluid or precum? If it's lube, adjusting quantity to make sure you're not using more than you need is a good first step, and thicker lubes will also leak less than thinner ones, so that's another thing you can experiment with. A trip to the bathroom right after your session will also help.

If it's fluid leaking from your penis, I have some suggestions but no personal experience, so I'll wait for other to chime in. A more vigorous massage will milk more fluid out, so maximizing range of motion and optimal contact of the device would help, I feel like getting on all fours would do well here, with gravity helping somewhat, but again, that's just a hunch. What positions have you tried ?

You could try having longer sessions,or develop your A-Less skills and have a couple of short sessions per day on top of your Aneros sessions. I don’t think position matters too much,you can milk in any position.

@zentai

The leakage is prostatic fluid from my penis which sometimes oozes out for more than an hour after I finish my session. My wife complains about having to wash it out of my underwear. I use coconut oil for a lubricant and apply it internally with a lube applicator prior to the session. I rinse it out immediately upon finishing with a MikaCare 375 litre enema bulb with a silicone hose attachment so the coconut oil is rinsed out and therefore there is no anal leaking problem. I use the massager either lying on my side or on my back with my legs bent at the knees. I seem to get more fluid out on my side so I will try it on all fours as you recommend and see if gravity produces more flow. My wife enjoys watching my sessions on occasion and on all fours will afford her a better view of the massager working its magic. Thanks for the response.

If your wife enjoys watching, do you think she would be willing to contribute ? Digital prostate massage could really help drain more fluid, and at the end of a session would not take a lot of time since everything is already primed. You could do it yourself but it takes some wrist flexibility and it's not always the easiest thing to do, while with you on all fours, it would be very easy for her. To me it seems like the perfect way to solve this and could be fun for both of you.

Do you use aneros solely for bph relief? You didn’t mention anything about pleasure or orgasms in the op. Do you get pleasure from the toy? Since your wife is cool with the aneros,there’s a real possibility of both having some some fun a long the way.

@helghast  I had been going to my urologist on more than one occasion for treatment of prostatitis. In addition to antibiotic drug therapy I was going to the urologist office 4 times a week for 2 weeks so he could digitally massage my prostate. Quite embarrassing to say the least. He suggested that the use of an at home device could be beneficial to me as my prostate was enlarged and restricting my urine flow thereby contributing to my prostatitis. He referred me to High Island Health where I got my first plastic massager. The hard plastic was a little uncomfortable but did the job of expressing the prostatic fluid. Over time it did help and I had no recurring bouts of prostatitis. I discovered that Aneros was an offshoot of High Island Health and thought I would try the silicon Helix to see if it was more comfortable and was amazed at the difference. In answer to your question, yes I do find the sessions to be quite pleasurable. I have not had any prostate orgasms that I read about but do finish off sometimes with a penile orgasm through either masturbation or the help of my wife who has been real supportive. These orgasms are pretty intense and I release a lot of semen and fluid which is beneficial to my problem. So yes, I would recommend this treatment for any man suffering from BPH or prostatitis but only after discussing it with their doctor. If you massage the prostate in a way that feels comfortable and you keep at it long enough, you will experience pleasurable sensations.

@bobbyc cool! Have you thought about having sessions with or without the wife that are more sexual thus the chore of draining would be a lot more fun? Do you think an enlarged prostate is capable of prostate orgasm?

@helghastI don't know if an enlarged prostate would inhibit a prostate orgasm. I have had solo sessions in which I engaged in strictly for sexual pleasure. I have gone for two full hours and nothing happens other than extremely pleasurable sensations and a lot of precum leakage. Do you recommend another massage device that could increase the possibility of that elusive prostate orgasm.

@bobbyc no not at all,aneros is all good. I just wondered if the pleasurable sensations could be amplified into orgasm making the draining chore into a fun chore,which isn’t really a chore at all then.

@helghast   I really don't view my massages as a chore. A pleasurable necessity maybe but certainly not a chore. I am thankful every day that my doctor suggested the use of an at home device and can't say enough about the silicon Helix. Along with draining my prostate it has provided me with pleasurable sensations that I never knew existed. I feel that one of these sessions will someday lead to a prostate orgasm and I thank you for your input.

@bobbyc For what it’s worth, I’ve learned that prostate orgasms arise after what we call “re-wiring”. Re-wiring because when we are sexually aroused, because of many years since puberty, we naturally assume ejaculation is the goal. But this works against prostate orgasm. Concentrate on the novel feelings arising from Aneros usage. Let it build with no goal of ejaculation and you’ll have one. Maybe others can explain better. Or research it on the site. Good luck.
