I'm a person that is on his back most of the time. I put a pillow under my lower back to get my butt up so my Aneros isn't touching the bed. In the videos that another person here posted I noticed some people lay their legs down with no pillow. Sometimes close together. Wouldn't this impair the movement of the aneros? Do people have good luck with this ? Does it make much of a difference? Just looking for more positions and things to try other than on my back all the time. Thx.
The only position I can get any o's is on by back with a pillow below my lower back and head and then my knees bent and appart. I can't do side or just laying flat. One night when I was about an hour into the session and just all in I was able to loose the pillow below my back and lay my legs down flat for a nice deep ride when my ass clenched and the device went deeper with my legs still quivering. I brought my knees right back up until it hit again when the feelings died down.

Yeah it can.
Some people cut off the back tail of the aneros, so it can move more freely in this position. I've done this with most of mine. I'm reluctant to cut off the models that have a "k-tab", since I think the k-tab might actually do something one day (if I somehow become wired for it).
Other than that, I find reaching under my butt-cheeks, pulling them apart, and setting them back down in that position can free things up enough. I find it's also a nice position to stay in, sitting on my hands, applying a gentle pulling-apart.

I like it. It feels nice to straighten-out my legs, and sometimes the pleasure can get very "leggy". It's also a nice break from trying to balance my legs/knees.
You can still try the legs-down position, even with the tail intact. Most of the time the movement is very slight anyway. The tail might get in the way of a wild "auto-fuck", but that's not most of the time.
