The discharge may just be 'stale' semen etc. that's been produced by the prostate over the years yet never fully discharged - that is until you started using a prostate massager. I'd suggest carrying on for a couple more days to see if it dies down,, of course if the pain when urinating becomes very uncomfortable, your main priority is to see a specialist before the situation gets any worse.

I'm not a doctor, but from what you describe it sounds like your early Aneros usage may have been a bit more vigorous than your prostate was ready to accept. I seriously doubt you have done any lasting damage and will probably be functioning normally within a few days, if you give yourself adequate recovery time. I suspect you may have bruised your prostate in the process of "awakening" it.

Since the Aneros is in the rectum and only massages the prostate indirectly through the rectal wall it is highly unlikely you could have transferred any infectious pathogens without also slicing through the rectal wall itself. If you had done that you would likely be fighting a serious case of peritonitis.

Some men have found that Aneros use has increased their emissions of Cowper's gland fluid, which is clear, as you have described. The milky flecks of semen contained therein are probably within the range of normalcy, so I wouldn't worry about them.

Painful urination, however, is something that needs to be addressed by a doctor, if it does not resolve itself quickly. It is possible you could have done some minor damage to your penis during intercourse with your girlfriend, which would also contribute to later painful urination. I agree with 'darwin', I would advise you get that checked out soon.

Hey, Concerned. You may be having a case of non-specific urethritis which does not necessarily represent a sexually transmitted illness and as you point out your STD screen is negative. I can think of no way that Aneros use caused what you are seeing or has caused any prostate injury. At your age there is no concern for prostate cancer or other serious chronic prostate illness and about the only prostate problem someone at your stage in life might experience is acute prostatitis which causes fever, back ache, and acute illness, all of which you've said you don't have.

If you do not clear promptly though I'd schedule a visit with a urologist, but would not be fearful of him finding something serious. At the worst he'd probably only obtain a urine specimen and do a digital rectal examination where he'd feel of your prostate by inserting his finger in your rectum and feeling of it then give you some antibiotics to take. And if you are embarrassed about it, you certainly don't have to explain how this all came about. It wouldn't matter to him anyway and all he needs to know is that after sex you started experiencing these symptoms and he'll check you out. Relax about it for now and don't worry.

I would advocate complete openness with any doctors you see if you want them to accurately diagnose you.

While this Forum may provide some helpful hints on health matters, it should not be seen as a primary source on medical advice. I too would strongly urge you to consult with a urologist on this. It's very possible that this in nothing serious, but that is really for a treating physician to determine. As the previous respondent said, be open and honest about what is going on with you. Believe me, in this day and age there is nothing that will comes as surprise to your doctor. So put any feeling of embarrassment aside and lay it all out there. It will help him make a more accurate determination of your condition and it will make you feel better knowing that he's made an accurate diagnosis on the basis of all of the facts.
