Boy o' boy, do I ever love my Aneros. I'm new to it, don't care about this legendary hero of a super-o, and am simply enjoying my playtime (which I seem to be making more and more of). However, I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions regarding the placement of the perineum prod. Maybe I'm lying in a crooked position, or maybe my rectum is a bit off-kilter, but the damn thing keeps slipping from one side to the other and my hands-free fun sunddenly needs adjusting. I try to keep the lube under control, but what can you do... Does anybody else think this is an issue? I find that there's so much more heated sensation when it's at a right angle. Are there any muscular tricks? Experiences you can share?

PS: I'm so proud of us for talking about our asses so candidly.

Hi
I bought the Helix and constantly had this problem while lying on my back. The tab didn't seem long enough. I decided to try the Eupho which is slimmer but the tab is longer and now stays in one place

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm working with the MGX and will invest more time before I invest more coin... but the Eupho is definitely on my wish list for future.

Just tear off the corner of a piece of kitchen paper towel and slip it behind the tab, makes all the difference.

I tear off a strip of paper towel, about 1-1/2" wide and wrap it around the tab several times. Then I use a twist tie from a bread wrapper and twist it tight behind the knob and tuck the ends in, so they don't stick me!

This also keeps the tab from making me sore and stays put better...

Should be good to go for hours???

Thanks.

You might also check out some of the more exotic old standards (posted here in the forum several years ago now), like the outrigger trick involving small sections of small diameter radiator tubing held in tandem by paper clips (the abutment tab is passed through the center). The sections of tubing add stability and reduce a certain amount of pressure as well.

The other one involves finding one of those floaties commonly used as floating key holders for those who are into boating. Again, with this one, a slit is cut in the center and the abutment tab is passed through the center.

Be advised however that as these methods reduce the intensity of perineal contact they also reduce mobility.....so there are some trade offs to be considered.

I'm starting to think that it is my prostate that is swelling and causing it to move from side to side. If that's the case, I'm not going to bother trying to 'fix' anything. All's well.

I too have had issues with soreness from the perineum tab. Certainly the tab is a key component to the stimulator because perineum pressure is a key component to prostrate massage. I have been hesitant to make any physical modifications to the tab or arm for fear of destroying the stimulator. To date, I have preferred to use either tissue or a small piece of cloth as a pad and the result has been OK - but not optimal. Then just today I had a brainstorm and quickly tried a new idea. I got a ping-pong ball and made a hole just large enough to push the tab through. The end result is surprisingly good - and was simple to do. The combined unit has a lot of flexibility and I found movement of the Aneros was enhanced (a good thing). The tab can now move anywhere it wants to inside the ball, the ball easily moves to where it needs to be (try walking or moving around and you will see), the sensation of pressure on the perineum is retained, the shape of the ball spreads out the pressure and thus there is no longer any “pinching” feeling. The ball doesn’t seem to have any adverse affect on how the Aneros sits in the rectum. From a mental standpoint, I felt a kinky sense of enhanced virility since I now had "three" balls down there – and that was a turn-on. I am excited to show my invention to my wife ASAP. Hopefully we can find enough time alone soon so we can have an uninhibited 2+ hour "love session" and “subject” the combined unit to further extensive testing - but I am confident that soreness and pinching will now be a thing of the past.

Great, how inventive! That is such a simple and an elegant solution to an irritating problem.
I just recently got my aneros, so I just have to keep that (ping-pong) in mind, as an option.
I'm new here, but it's wonderful to share this openness!
Understandably, I will not be promoting aneros to just anybody I meet.
I will be hesitating even with my closest friends, even if, at the same time, I would like to tell!
Luckyly my female partner is very understanding.
I just wish good luck for you, Tantratwin, and everybody else.
It's all here already, we just have to find it...
(the super O, for example - I'm, stil looking for it, but trying to be patient, and humble.)
It's kind of a spiritual journey, maybe?
This secrect society of men, with scientifically designed objects up their rears?
I'm just lucky to be here. English is not my language, so I hope nobody get's any bad feelings from my words.
All the best to everybody!

jb2006 - Your post is a riot, and I must admit that I was smiling at the similar thought while I was standing in the checkout line of the store - imagining if the check-out clerk only knew the package of balls in my hand would not be bouncing on a table, but serving another purpose…

Kari - Best wishes to you as well as you embark on your journey. I am new to posting on this site. It is amazing all the different perspectives and experiences that we all have and are choosing to post. You are lucky, as am I, to have an understanding partner to directly share with. I have used the Aneros alone and as part of my lovemaking with my wife, and I always have much better sensations when it is part of our mutual love making. I like your characterization of this being a spiritual journey. I think your “humble” expectations will be the key to success, since you will not easily become frustrated. Here are my perceptions on the OMG (OhMyGod or SuperO) feeling: It definitely is not the sharp focused intensity that comes with an ejaculatory orgasm from the penis. Most of the time for me, it really is a gentle wave, slowly building and slowly leaving. It is more of a prolonged whole body feeling as opposed to an externally climactic feeling of an ejaculation. Think of a long rolling wave (the OMG) as opposed to a crashing breaker (an ejaculation) - the wave continues on while the breaker terminates in one climactic act of finality. The internal tingling feeling is the key and I feel that through out and in varying degrees of intensity. Occasionally, I will achieve a real mind numbing full body shaking peak – but not always. If I don’t, that is OK, because I am still highly aroused and can stay that way for a couple hours. This is the foundation of what essentially evolved into a prolonged period of romantic foreplay with my loving wife. When we finally consummate our lovemaking though intercourse (we prefer the spoon position), I always find it takes me a little while to “rewire” my circuits, so to speak, so that I can ultimately cum. My wife loves this since we end up having a slow loving screw – and more often than not the movement from screwing will trigger some waves of OMG feeling before the big climax.

Your description of being “a secret society of men…” struck a chord. I am certainly a “newbie” in terms of participating in this site. I have found that I have learned a lot about myself through the process of reflecting and composing a message. I won’t ever claim to be an expert, because in the end what works for me won’t necessarily work for somebody else. I can only share my experiences as so many have shared here before me.

Now the postscript to my earlier posting on 2006-10-11:

I had ended up leaving the Aneros with the ping-pong ball in our master bathroom cabinet after my initial trial run. On Saturday morning, my wife was showering and drying her hair, and she saw my “contraption” - the Aneros was nothing new since I must credit her encouragement a year ago for going ahead and making the purchase - but what was new for her was seeing the Aneros with the ball on the perineum tab. So I told her about my idea, as well as the fact that I had posted it on this site. She immediately wanted to see the posting on the forum. As she read it, I got an approving nod, and she confessed that she was very turned on. She had not focused before on the perineum pressure aspect of the Aneros, so this was a nice ice breaker for a bit of a discussion. Unfortunately (or fortunately since it was a bit of a tease) we had to wait until early afternoon to finally have the house to ourselves, and ended up having a very mutually erotic and romantic two hours during the mid-afternoon. The ball worked wonders, since I never had any discomfort and didn’t have any problem with attaining an OMG feeling, so I will declare the invention a success that, at a minimum, works for me.

I keep looking in the Aneros accessories store and still can't find the "Abutment Tab Buffer Ball" option. You think they would have picked up that as a money maker.

I just got my first Aneros (MGX) and played with it the other day. It was all good... nothing spectacular but nothing odd, painful, or otherwise uncomfortable. It was pleasurable.

Anyway, before I got my Aneros, I did some self-exploration and reading to figure out the perineum accupressure point. I can't find it. Most of what I've read says it's a "dime-sized soft spot" 1/2 way between anus and scrotum. That area on me is hard with no soft spots. It's especially hard if I'm hard! I have always been under the impression that that's the internal base (bulb) of the penis under the skin in that area..?? The only soft spot that seems like it might be a pleasure zone for me is in the area between the anus and scrotum but REALLY close to the anus (way less than one inch away.. almost still in the foldy pucker skin area)... might that be it? Where is it for you other guys? If that's the sweet spot, then the tab is way too long...

Hi Newbie,

I could never find my "sweet spot" either. The way I read the descrition, it reminded me of a small hole with skin over it. Maybe this is like everything else and is different for everyone. What I have been able to zero in on is the actual "cord" or inner penis that I have. This runs the length of the perenium on me from the base of my penis to my anus. It was interesting when I first started to pay attention to it, there was little or no feeling associated with it. Then it started to get VERY sensitive. In the beginning, what I did was stroke it during my sessions and noticed that there must be some kinds of veins going around it because I could feel them and they were the thing that was the most sensitive part of it. This cord, or inner penis, is where I want my tab to rest, or just to the left, but definatly touching it. Since it runs the length of the perenium, it really doesnt matter to me how far that tab rests between the scrotum and anus.

Ok, guys, does anybody know what I am talking about? I have re-read that paragraph and I could see that it might be confusing. I hope somebody gets something out of it.

Later guys,

Buster

Newbie,

Couldn't find my softspot either as described in the directions. That was one reason I went out and bought a few Aneros models ... hoping that one would connect.

The acid test for me and I think for you is that within 30 days if you get involuntaries and other goodies....it means you have the three Aneros spots connected (perineum, anal, prostate) in the right way.

Good journey.
