Peridise - when to switch and what to do?

I picked up the set of 4 Peridise last week with the hopes that I can finally get rid of my internal hemorrhoids. The first time I tried them I couldn't even get any of them in so I was kind of worried, but maybe I just had to relax because it's been fine since then. But now I have two questions:

First, how do I know when to move on to the smaller size? I've started with the largest size and I'm only on my 3rd session so I know I probably have a while, but how do I know?

Secondly, what do I do while it is in? I've been trying to contract my muscles around it (kegals I guess) and then just relaxing. Sometimes I'll try to alternate pushing it out slightly then pulling it back in. Is that all I do?

If I'm just relaxing, I don't feel anything other than maybe a slight pressure in my anus so I'm not sure that's doing anything. And for the record, so far I haven't felt anything even remotely close to the pleasure sensation some have experienced but that isn't really my goal so I'm ok with that. I just want to strengthen my PC muscles so I can hopefully get rid of the hemorrhoids and maybe even get some control over my ejaculatory timing (right now I have almost zero control).

Thanks for your help.

@ justaguy61201,First up - make sure you use ample lubrication so that the tool doesn't dry out while it is inside you. Also, try applying some water-based lubricant around your anus (and to the tool itself) prior to insertion. You may find plenty of suggestions as to what lube to use but, FWIW, I use a plug (about 3ml) certified unrefined shea butter. That way, if you fall asleep with the tool inside, it will remain comfortably there all night.

I read on the HIH website (the manufacturers of these littles devices), that users of them were surprised to find that, after a while, regular use of them simply as a haemorrhoid treatment, began to provide unexpected pleasant feelings that eventually resulted in orgasms. That gave me heart and led me to feel that I didn't actually have to do anything to cause them to produce pleasurable feelings. These come on completely automatically!

As to 'when to progress to the next smaller tool', I went for about a month using the largest and then a couple of months before adopting the 18mm one. It might have been almost a year before I began regular use of the smallest one but, by then, I had become accustomed to the great sensations being produced by the 18mm one. I probably could have started using the smallest one earlier, but was afraid that the smallest one might be too small! How wrong I was! This little baby really produces the goods and I now only use a larger one if I feel the need for a bit of body.

Hope that helps!

Thanks for the tips! I definitely use a lot of lube now just to be safe. The first time I tried using YES brand just because of the ingredients but it didn't work well for me. I then switched to the ID Glide and have had no problems. I like the idea of shea butter though because I am concerned about what I put on and in my body so maybe I'll try that. I'd assume that's a little harder to clean up though?

I'll just continue using the larger one for a month and then switch it up to one size smaller. And I definitely won't complain if one day I too experience the pleasurable feelings 🙂

I've had it in for about 3 hours now and for the most part can't really feel it. Although I've noticed that when standing, if I push just a little bit then contract it back in, it is quite an interesting feeling (in a good way).
