I have been using my Aneros devices for over 15 years and had some good sessions, however, recently I hurt my back so have been resting.

Had an interesting experience this morning, I woke up and my back was still painful. I decided to use my old TENS machine on my back. I put the sticky pads on either side of my spine in the small of my back and switched it onto pulse mode. I did not turn it up too high just enough to mask the pain. After a few minutes I noticed that my back muscles were contracting slightly and well as my PC muscles.

I thought I wonder what it would do to my Aneros MGX so I inserted it a laid back. I could feel it massaging my prostate softly but really nice. I tuned the level down slightly as the TENS was over shadowing the Aneros. Mmm it was bliss.

You learn something every day.

@chestinut I think that’s what they call a happy accident. Whatever, glad it worked and gave you some relief so to speak:D
Speedy recovery!

I'm sorry to hear about the back pain but glad you were able to receive some pleasure from the electro-therapy.

You may recall a thread called The Slightest Touch on this Forum which discusses the use of a product called 'The Slightest Touch' (a modified TENS E-stim device originally designed for women but has also been used by men). The original makers of that product produced a short user manual for men's usage/guidance with @B Mayfield as a contributing author, (here’s a link to a copy of that manual which described pad placement very similar to what you did. That manual may be helpful to you and other members exploring E-Stim techniques.

Note : Apparently The Slightest Touch company was sold a few years ago and since then their service and customer relations have significantly deteriorated. At this time one may be much better off purchasing an alternative product from another manufacturer, see the E-stim paragraph in the Aneros WIKI. Good Vibes to You !
