Nube Thinks He's Getting the Hang of It

I'm a 40 something recently divorced heterosexual male who was looking for something new to try alone. I've had a pretty adventurous outlook on sex, so this wasn't really a stretch for me as I encouraged "toy play" with my ex and past girlfriends. My Helix Syn arrived last week and after two sessions, here's what's happening:
Being a competitive swimmer and scuba diver, I've always had great control of my breathing, so following the advice given here in the forum I timed my contracting of the muscles with slow, even deep breaths. I was able to focus on and isolate my prostate immediately, and after about 15 mins I started involuntary leg shakes which slowly moved up to my abs. after about 20 mins the shakes became full out quakes, and I noticed my penis felt hard but actually appeared thicker and flaccid. at 30 mins the spasms had moved to my upper abs and started almost violent quakes. I ended the session here when I could no longer control the sphincter flexing on my own. My prostate was hard as a rock.
What next?

sounds like your moving along nicely, now just keep practicing. Loss of muscle control is a good thing, which will lead to involuntaries which are the mechanism for prostate massage. Just remember to relax too.

In all the sessions where I`ve had the shakes the shakes have never really brought anything good with them. I noticed it is me contracting my inner muscles that is giving me the shakes. I just alter positions and start over with holding a smaller PC contraction and do my shallow breath method.

I`ve had a few mini-O`s now, and not once was I shaking when getting them. I tensed up, but not shaking a bit until I actually got the Super-O.

Good information! I think that I have been doing too much of the work based on what you've just said.

When I had the shakes during a session, it never really felt all that good at first; after several minutes of shaking, the prostate would start to feel good, and would grow until I O'd.

Well.. I wouldn`t guess that the shakes increase or alter the sensitivity of the prostate. Maybe it was your hard contractions that made it feel better. Holding hard contractions give me the shakes because I tense up an concentrate on the musclegroup down there. But hey, we`re all built diffrently. 🙂

I can attest to Alex_xxx "shallow breathing method"!! tried it this morning and had some of the best O's ever. Just when you think it can't get any better, IT DOES! Thanks Alex for your posting.

So if I understand correctly, slow rhythmic contractions are the key, allowing the sensation to build and the prostate to "ripen". Correct?

@Bobandy You`re welcome, glad to help! Would be cool if you wrote it in the post (My shallow breathing method) so that other people see that it`s worth reading and trying 🙂

@KevinT Sounds right, if by "ripen" you mean for your prostate to "awaken" and by that I mean focus on the sensations while relaxing AND doing the contractions. Where the method I use you don`t really feel yourself doing any big active contractions. The movements are done by the breathing, and giving the movement a SLIGHT push by contractions when exhaling and inhaling. You`ll see once you try it..
