Nine years ago I found this forum and I bought my first aneros. I have been reading here and I have been playing with it for nine years on and off without any interesting results. Three years ago I started making some slight progress and felt some weak pleasure for a few second and in the last two months things have really started to happen for me. I am confused because I don't feel that my experiences fit in with what others describe and I would like to hear your comments on my experiences and I also have some questions. English is not my native language and it's pretty hard to write about stuff like this but I hope you are able to understand me.

I don't understand the difference between a p-wave, a mini-o and a super-o. Instead of just trying to fit my experience into someone else's box but I will try to describe the orgasmic feelings I have and call it a mygasm.

I get some really good pleasurable feelings around my prostate and sometimes it also feels good in the shaft of my penis but I don't feel any pleasurable feelings in the rest of my body. it is hard to describe the feelings but if I have to put words on it I would say it's like an orgasm but warmer and softer. It can start almost immediately after I insert the device or it can take a while to build up. It makes me sound like a porn movie and I tense up in my abs and chest muscles so that I have trouble breathing normally. My body doesn't shake and I wouldn't describe it as mind blowing. I haven't timed myself but I think the mygasms lasts for up to 20 minutes but it can also end in less than a minute. The closest thing I can compare the feeling to is when I'm about to have a traditional orgasm and reach the pointy of no return where things start to feel so good that I can't go back and stop the orgasm from happening. The difference between a mygasm and the point of no return is that instead of being over the edge I feel like I'm just about to pass the edge but I just can't get over it. There is never any explosion like a traditional orgasm, just ongoing pleasure. I have a strong feeling that it can get a lot better and if I relax in the right way it does get better and better and the feeling that it can get even better increases as well. It is very pleasurable but also very frustrating because I just know that I can get so much more out of it. If I relax completely in my PC muscle it ends and it I tense to much it decreases. Somehow I feel that if I tense my PC muscle it blocks the energy from travelling.

I have very little control over when I can have a mygasm and I don't even know if I can have one or not until I insert the device and my body tells me if I like it or not. When a mygasm dies out I go from very much pleasure to nothing in just a second, kind of like a traditional orgasm. Sometimes it declines gradually but it still ends rather quickly. I have been able to get pleasure going again but usually my body feel completely uninterested in continuing the session and my body try to push the device out. If I try to keep going i feel sour, especially if I have a progasm or something of similar size in. If I take a break for 30 min and then try again it usually gets even better than before.

It would be nice if someone could comment on my experience. I'm really happy with my progress so far but I want to have the mind blowing full body shaking experience that I read others describe and could use some advice. I also have a few questions that I would like answered if possible.

Based on what I describe, would you categorize what I experience as a super-O, mini-O or a P-wave?

Is it possible to get "over the edge" and feel satisfied or do I just have to learn to live with and enjoy the feeling I have of wanting more?

Is my idea of wanting to get over the edge just a mental issue I have based on how a traditional orgasm feels like and something I just have to get over to fully enjoy the experience?

It's extremely hard to not flex my abs and my chest muscles and breathe deeply or even normally during the mygasm. Could this be the reason why I don't feel it in my whole body, that I somehow tense up and don't let the energy flow? I'm not interested in hearing if you believe the theory is good but I want to hear if someone else has had the same problem and what happened when you solved it.

How much precum do you get during a min-O or a super-O? I have read some people leaking a lot but I only get a little. Can the amount of precum be an indicator of how well I'm doing? I do feel like I have a lot more in my prostate that wants to get out when I have a mygasm but that it stays in because I'm not over that edge.

I also want to thank everyone here for posting in this forum. I have been reading a lot here over the last years and without inspiration from all of you I would probably have given up a long time ago. I haven't felt like I've had to post anything before because there's just so much information in here already.

@tanricTraveler,1. I admire your persistence with an Aneros. Nine Years!
2. It gives me courage to keep going. Three Years for me.
3. Others will give their advice, but I think you will get over that edge and find yet another one ahead.
4. I think for some the journey is fast - but that may miss the scenery on the way.
5. The Super O seems to be different for each one. I think it is probably a personal experience.
6. I think you are experiencing something definitely close.

May your journey in the New Year be fantastic
I think you english is excellent

@TT I'll be brief 'cause it's 2:30 and I've been riding my Helix and need to get some sleep. What you have described is what I have had for the two years I have been using my device. The sense of "going over the top" is traditional O and eventually you'll see that it won't end that way, though each time I find myself urging it on. You must relax and lower your anxiousness. When some feelings begin, try to roll with them, and experience them consciously. Feel the device moving inside. I have a stage where I imagine my moving the device, but don't actually contract anything and then the device takes over. Enjoy every stage of your journey, even the "dud" sessions. In any case, you'll probably urinate better afterwards, so that's a benefit even if you haven't had the pleasureable side. The users who are not successful tend to be anxious about it (I guess I would also be), but since you are already on the right track, roll with it, enjoy it. See how you can enhance it--talk to yourself---this is nice , this is differrent. what am i feeling now. If you have time, the chat room is very helpful and there are usually users who can even coach you. Remember that this forum and the users are kind of like comrades/compadres and all have been tthrough some stage of what you describe. As far as pre-cum: That's very much individual. I had very little if any--often it felt like I was dripping and nothing. More recently (again, I'm two years into this) I have seen more flow. BTW, sexual pleasure of orgasm is tied to the volume of seminal fluid and pre-cum is a small part of it. You should make sure you're well hydrated while riding (though that might mean you have to take pee breaks--so what!). All the best. You're doing fine.

That sounds very close to what I'm experiencing right now in my sessions. Yesterday I started with my helix and moved on to my progasm. Eventually the pleasure started building in my prostate/rectum area and I had a series of 'mygasms' (cool word!). It felt just like the point of no return of a regular orgasm, but just stayed at that point for seconds/minutes at a time. By the time one was done I was laying on the bed panting. After a minute or so of rest I started doing contractions again and it'd start again. I think we're both at the same good place....enjoy!

@tantrictraveler, ditto. I have a similar experience after 2 years. It seems like I'm on a happily plateau playing with different pleasures and energies. I'd like to get to the next level in this world but haven't so far. As for your abdominal tension, I felt that too and have been massaging my belly from the pubic bone to the ribs during sessions. It releaves tension and directs the pleasure to that area. Truelly amazing. Don't know if that will unblock anything.

tantricTraveler,

First, I'd like to applaud your persistence and patience for staying with this. While you may not have been getting great pleasure over the years you probably do have a healthier prostate from the usage. I too, like your coining of the term "mygasm" as it does capture the unique individuality of each man's Super-O. I am confused because I don't feel that my experiences fit in with what others describe and I would like to hear your comments on my experiences and I also have some questions.Every man's journey is unique to him and what you read about happening to others will not necessarily happen to you, this is normal. Your experiences may be similar but they will still be unique to you, accepting the state of your own experience as valuable for what it IS instead of what it is NOT is crucial to your future growth and enjoyment....I don't understand the difference between a p-wave, a mini-o and a super-o.When you first got your Aneros massager, there was no WIKI to help you understand the Aneros journey, today you have a Glossary and a more definitive description of what constitutes a Super-O to clarify your understanding.
There is never any explosion like a traditional orgasm, just ongoing pleasure.IMHO, too many men get hung up on thinking the Super-O is going to be a super explosive ejaculatory like experience but it isn't. Please read 'Buster's thread What exactly is a Super-O to get a wider perspective of what constitutes a Super-O and also please read my post regarding 'the Edge' and a couple of other myths.I'm really happy with my progress so far but I want to have the mind blowing full body shaking experience that I read others describe and could use some advice. The "...mind blowing..." aspect of ones experience is an individual perception and if you expect some particular thing and then don't get it you've just set yourself up for frustration and disappointment. Being happy with your present is the key to having a happy future present. If you have duly noted the commentary from your fellow members in numerous forum posts, the "...body shaking experience..." may or may not be pleasurable, I certainly have not found it to be. Let others experiences fuel your imagination but don't expect your adventure to match theirs, you are on your own unique journey of enjoyment so why try to match anyone else's?Based on what I describe, would you categorize what I experience as a super-O, mini-O or a P-wave?It may have been a Super-O.Is it possible to get "over the edge" and feel satisfied or do I just have to learn to live with and enjoy the feeling I have of wanting more?If you pass the PONR (entering ejaculatory inevitability) and thence an ejaculation you will then trigger various neurochemical releases in the brain including prolactin (which counteracts the dopamine pleasure high) and oxytocin. These two hormones are powerful mood altering agents which we males interpret as leading to satiation. Is my idea of wanting to get over the edge just a mental issue I have based on how a traditional orgasm feels like and something I just have to get over to fully enjoy the experience? If the refractory period due to ejaculation is not initiated then the satiation factor may be nullified, this allows for you to experience multiple orgasms in sequence and the Super-O. A prostate based orgasm is qualitatively different from a penile induced ejaculatory orgasm, while they share many of the same characteristic sensual pleasure perceptions (dopamine releases) the withholding or diminished release of prolactin and oxytocin due to ejaculation will almost always make it different. It's extremely hard to not flex my abs and my chest muscles and breathe deeply or even normally during the mygasm. Could this be the reason why I don't feel it in my whole body, that I somehow tense up and don't let the energy flow?Yes, that may be happening in your situation, learning to relax into and through your orgasm is a skill which will be helpful in maximizing your pleasure. How much precum do you get during a min-O or a super-O? I have read some people leaking a lot but I only get a little. Can the amount of precum be an indicator of how well I'm doing? The amount of precum you produce is not an indicator of anything but your own ability to produce precum. You may want to see the user Poll -> How much precum (Cowper's gland secretion) do you produce?I do feel like I have a lot more in my prostate that wants to get out when I have a mygasm but that it stays in because I'm not over that edge. While your Anerosessions may stimulate precum release and also lead to some Prostate Milking effects you are likely to retain some fluid pressure and not experience the satiating effect that a full ejaculation would induce. A full "milking" may provide some temporary relief of the immediate urge to ejaculate but it is also likely to leave you in an unsatiated state as well because it does not induce the above mentioned hormonal releases.
Good Vibes to You !
