Yesterday, I got my Aneros Helix in the mail and tried it out last night. I didn't feel any sensations during my 90 minute session. Fortunately, I read several posts before yesterday and knew what to expect so I wasn't upset about that. This morning I tried again and after an hour or so of no sensations decided to end the session. But I was pretty relaxed so I just laid on the bed doing nothing and left the Helix in. After 5 - 10 minutes of chilling I started trembling and feeling some pretty pleasurable sensations running through my penis. My body shook uncontrollably, I broke out into a sweat, and I had involuntary contractions that slammed the Helix into my prostate. I didn't feel any orgasmic pleasure in my anal or prostate area although the Helix hitting my prostate felt good. This went on for about 5 minutes or so and then happened 3 more times with only a couple minutes between experiences. I know I didn't have a Super O, but maybe I had mini-O's? After the four mini-O's or whatever they were, I felt a slight tingling in my anal area a few times but it didn't build to anything. Is that what the start of a Super O might feel like? When this was going on, what should I have tried to do? Should I have tried to control the contractions in any way?
Thanks for your help.

I do not mean this to be cynical or demeaning in any way, but I hope helpful. It surprises me when a newbie expects results right away, when some of us endured months of patience before feelling much of any results from aneros. Reading forums I find some men go for years w/o experiencing a Super O. I certainly don't deny that some newbies make rapid progress. It may depend on previous dildo experience, more testosterone, or whatever reason.
opus33,
Welcome to the Aneros Forums, as I noted in my introductory PM to you - "D.) The time frame for this process of "re-wiring" can vary widely from individual to individual, some users have gotten to a Super-O almost immediately, others have taken more than a year or even two to reach that goal. Nearly a quarter of the men using the Aneros took longer than a year to get there. In any case your journey is going to be unique for you, what you will be learning about yourself will be valuable and enjoyable, the process is very much worth the effort. "

It seems to me you've already hit quite a few of the listed Milestones so congratulations on such a quick physical response.

As I also noted in that introductory PM "G.) The most important tip I can give is to suspend expectations of results, relax and enjoy the ride for the pleasing sensations you do receive. Be patient with yourself, open to the new feelings and nurturing in your attitude, these feelings and sensations can NOT be forced or otherwise coerced to occur. Give yourself permission to release egocentric mental control. Just " Let Go ! " to allow your body to generate this phenomena for your pleasure and enjoyment, just "Go with the Flow ! "."
I had the body spasms, shakes, and sweats with my first session. But there wasn't a lot of pleasure with it. The sensations were awesome, and I was excited and happy that this small piece of plastic could do so much, but the pleasure was not there.
I continued this way for several weeks and eventually began having HFWO, which were great but, again, not the pleasure I was seeking.
I then started doing more of the "do nothing method" which has led to great pleasure, but not an orgasm yet.
I believe my early sessions were very aggressive on my part, which led to the spasms and shakes. I don't get them as often now the I employ the more passive techniques. Good luck and welcome.
