Yeah!

Read as much of the Aneros Wiki as you can and become thoroughly familiar with the theory. The more theoretical knowledge you have, the easier you will find the practical learning to be.

Good luck and enjoy!

Perhaps get used to the feeling of insertion by gently exploring with a lubed finger?

I dont have any issues with insertion, played with vibrators etc before but with no positive effect as such, hence the reason for trying the Helix... Hope it arrives soon. Read all i can actually take in at present so hoping we can achieve some results but I'm not going to rush anything. Slowly Slowly Catchy Monkey as they say.

All depends on how you're approaching use of the product. You can use it for prostate massage for health reasons, pure and simple, just like going to the urologist years ago and getting massage for prostate congestion and to improve prostate health. Second, you can use if while having traditional penile stimulated sex and with most guys it will improve force, volume, and intensity of traditional ejaculatory orgasm. Finally, you can explore its use in experiencing the elusive, extraordinarily pleasurable dry or prostate "super" orgasm. This is the process that takes time and practice and that you probably see written most about here.

But for now, get the toy and have some fun feeling what it's like, and begin an enjoyable learning process that will expand your horizons of sexual performance and sensitivity.

Hope you can get a little time alone with it. When you do, just slip it in (letting it sit in moderately hot tap water a few minutes makes it feel nicer) using a lube that's comfortable to you. I use a little Vaseline and a thin coating of KY and don't enema or anything special and it works great that way (the rectum is normally entirely to at least essentially empty after a regular BM earlier in the day. Then just explore what you're feeling with it in. At first it will feel funny and you may well not identify the sensations of it touching the prostate inside, but it will be.

From there on, it depends as I said earlier what you're going to do with it in. Traditional ejaculatory orgasm feels more intense with the pelvic contractions causing it to massage your prostate as you ejaculate. Training on the other hand to have dry orgasms with it takes a while but it is a fun way to improve your sexual sensitivity and erectile performance and is loads of fun solo or as a way to "warm up" for traditional sex like with your wife.
