Because your journey might become as fast as my has been, I'd recommend to asap start a diary in the blog section. Otherwise you might lose some memories about earlier experiences, the faster your journey will go. Looking back and reading them over from time to time, did help me much to get over one or the other hurdle, plateau or regression. Like with workouts don't underestimate the value of the refractory period and enough sleep either.

As there are more toys called classic, which one do you have?

I bought a Helix on Friday, had my first session last night and I’d like to share a few things.
For starters, my wife and I have a wonderful sex life and she is fully supportive of me trying the Helix.
We have a love swing and lots of toys including dildos, vibes, cockrings, and butt plugs and we really enjoy each other.

I spent some time reading these threads to get an idea of what to expect and find tips on the best way to start.

I had a towel on the bed, for under my butt for any stray lube and another for general clean-up.
I took a nice, relaxing, hot shower, dried off and kept myself erect until I had the Helix inserted.
The lube I used is Sutil and was recommended by the wonderful sales person at the shop where I bought the Helix. The shop has a great selection of lubes and they are available in small, sample sizes, so I may explore some other choices over time. For this session, though, I was very happy with the Sutil.
I lubed myself and the massager, and inserted the massager as recommended by the included instructions. The insertions was totally smooth and effortless!
I started by simply lying on my back and put on a guided relaxation meditation from Insight Timer.
As I clenched and relaxed my PC muscles, I felt distinct and very pleasant, but not overwhelming, sensations that didn’t seem to originate from anywhere.
Bending my knees (both together and in a butterfly position) intensified the sensations which were still very peaceful and pleasurable.
I got basically the same results from several different positions; on my side, face down, on hands and knees, kneeling, kneeling with my face on the bed, standing, bending over the edge of the bed. To be clear, I enjoyed them all!

Eventually, I was on my back and put a pillow under my hips. I began to slowly thrust my hips and clench my muscles and the sensations got more intense.
I rested and repeated and with each repetition, the sensations got stronger. After a while I began to experience full body shudders that also became more intense with repetition.
After about 45 minutes, which was the length of the guided meditation, I relaxed and removed the massager.

I never experienced a Super-O, but really didn’t expect to. I know we live in the days of instant gratification and next-day delivery, but from what I’ve read I know that the Helix is an ongoing process and I’m delighted with my first experience. I know greater things lie ahead and will certainly pursue them.

A couple of other things- I never got an erection and was virtually unaware that that massager was in place. Motion simply became blissful sensation.
When my wife joined me after my session, my erection was stronger than it had been recently, and my orgasm was also longer an more intense.

Relaxation and patience seem to be the key to starting this amazing journey.

was the first hint, that much more is waiting to just happen. The more you can let go your memories how sex has been or should be, the more you will discover on your farther journey.
